Surely all he has to do is work out the page that is being looked at. Once he knows that, he can explain everything (assuming he has memorised the gist of the first paragraph of every page). That's not too impressive.
He allows free choice of any one of three classic novels, any page with no mention of the page number. Even if it were pure memorization, that would be pretty impressive to memorize the content of the first paragraph of every page of 3 separate novels. You apparently can't even memorize how to spell memorized.
well thats a very convincing demostration...really is...im still wondering how he does it...the odds are inmense...like a billion to one..theres something in play other that the book and kid..
Forget the method! This is really a great trick and beautifully presented. Impressive!

First, you try memorizing the gist of the
first paragraph of every page of some classic novel and let us know how you do.
Second, watch it as many times as you want and see there's no way he gets the page number.

By the way, It can be spelt either way;
memorised or memorized.
Does any one else think this could of been staged?

By the way, the word is 'spelled'
'spelt' is a type of wheat.
I know Harvey.
I do this.
It's not staged.
Spelling aside.

However, imagine being able to read a girl's PIN Number by looking at her eyes and body language. It never fails to impress.

An excellent and convincing demonstration. This is what mindreading would look like if someone could really do it.
