If someone is racist or sexist they can lose their job. If someone says nigger or fag on tv they will never be shown on their again, if an actor is racist or sexist they'll never appear in another movie. If they call someone a midget or make fun of them because of their height then nothing is done, people think of it as funny. Of course you like being short, if a girl is short they are still attractive, seen as "cute", "petite" etc. Whereas a short male is seem as weak, as a child. But even if a girl is tall, they are still seem as beautiful. Unless they're really tall it's still not a problem.
And at her height (6'2 apparently), 85% of the male population is shorter than her.

What do they need protection from? Dicrimination in the workplace. Currently you are protected from workplace discrimination based on race, religion, and sexual orientation. And the government is working on one that will protect you if you are a PEDOPHILE. And yet, they didn't put the one into action that protects you against height discrimination.
