  • Me262a Adolf Galland, 1/32 scale by Hasegawa Hobby kits...very nice kit. I build models for pleasure and not to compete.

  • Hi, I enjoy to watch your videos, I like 1/48 scale planes as well, however I also build up 1/72 cox they are smaller and good for my tiny flat.

  • Lucky you.... is that from BasicModelling's competition? Yup, as I guessed!

  • @2002And Yes, it was for the Mosquito entry, you saw already;-)

  • OMGosh a mershimshmit. That is one of my favorite planes!

  • FTW190!

  • Yep!

  • on the outside it said E-Z snap but it didnt look like one. aslo have you tried building the "Dragon" brand Me-262 its a pain in the neck. Let me know how it turns out!

(post any answer on my channel

  • I did not yet start on that kit, and unbtil now never tried a snap-kit: The surface looks very good, some details are a bit simplified. The largest difference to other kits is that the parts are quite thick and heavy, I guess to allow being snapped together and not being broken by mistake.

  • It's more complex than I imagined for a snap together, should look good!

  • It's not ab ad kit at all, or I would not have sent it to the dear Baron.. :) I'm sure even a modeller of his capacity should be able to make something of it.. :) :) :) :)

  • I mean: I'm sure a modeller of Barons capacity can make a very good model from this kit.. ahem..

  • Baron all for the camera.

  • Kit happens, unavoidable.

  • I'll quote that.. :)

  • That thing looks awesome!!

  • greetings back!! :-)))

Mein Flieger ist auch schon angekommen..... werd allerdings ein wenig Zeit brauchen ihn zu bauen...da ich z.Z. viel zu tun habe..... Lieben grüße zurück... und bis die Tage .... :-))))

  • I have contacted the baron and given him the names of my lawyers in boston: Dewey Cheatum and Howe! :) nice kit and you can make it look like one of those taken to America for research...I have a nice air magazine about that topic. :)

  • I have some decals for a US Me 262.. watch this space.. :)

  • I have the magazine and yours had best be correct or else it will cost you one billion zimbabwe dollars! :)

  • Hah, loved when you looked up and said "Heh, Airplanes......" Then looking into a box of Airplane parts and smiling :)

Congratulations, nontheless! Looks like a nice kit!

But what was that in the little blue bag?

  • Yes.. the airplane was an unforseen, but welcome joke^^ The Hamburg airport is located in the city, not outside, and I live not too far away.. I guess you mean the little paper bag at the end.. Seatbelts were included

  • Having seen this video, I must say I do miss the balcony of the flat we had in Sweden.. we have a garden now, but I still miss that balcony! :)

  • He got a plastic bag, Robert!? Why!?

  • Plastic bag?? Ah, yes.. I learnt a lesson posting the kits.. that I should have wrapped them better, so I apologise for not doing that with the first lot.. But should another prize come your way at any time.. or anything else for that matter, rest assured it will be better wrapped.. The only thing the Baron got extra was the seatbelts.. I would have included some for your Arado, but I couldn't find any that small.. :)

  • I've given up on rating.. It says the server don't recognise my request.. .. Oh well, I tried!! 5*****

  • I did tell you it was a basic kit.. but they go together well, at least the V-2 and the Hurricane did, that I built earlier.. :) I think you'll find the detail very good, and I thought the cock-pit was adequate for the job, especially with the canopy closed!!

They sell them as a 'good kit for the beginner but detailed enough to satisfy the experienced modeller'.. so I hope it satisfied you! :) :) Or at least that you're not too upset... :) :)

  • I AM really satisfied and happy with the kit. The surface detail looks very good, only when it comes to interior such as cockpit, engine and undercarriage, it is not fully the standard of this scale. So thanks again a lot!

  • I'm sure that when done up it'll look just fine... :) :) I'm looking forward to doing mine... :)
