  • flash point is probably the best mma movie ever...

  • damn even a black guy can't beat him

  • Donnie Yen in SPL and Flash Point FTW....Donnie Yen in Ip man not so much..

  • HIS BEST FIGHT WAS AGAINST WU JING SPL HANDS DOWN! I HAVE YET TO SEE A FIGHT THAT GOOD, WITH WEAPONS AND A EPIC TRACK PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND!

  • best was Flash Point for 1v1 "realistic" MMA style street fight. Ip Man for showcase whooping!!

  • I think the fight with Wu Jing in SPL is equally as good.

  • Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa should do something together... would be the best ever

  • His best fight was against 10 black belts from japan in ''Ip Man 2008''

  • Like Anderson Silva at 1:26 :D

  • I have seen Ip man 1 and 2 and i like donnie yen very very much in these movies. And now wanna see more of his movies.

  • best fights would be ones i watch over again and again and to that extent enter the dragon, flashpoint, knife fight in SPL and the epic, epic meals on wheels fight and chuck bloodsport in there when i was a kid

  • His best fight was in SPL with Sammo Hung.

  • the best fight was when he fought the boxer (end fight) in ip man 2(2010)

  • Good!!!! In my channel post a new movie of Donnie Yen!

  • this should be named best donnie yen fight in your opinion, cause i didn't see anyone else who agreed

  • i seen everyone of his films, i dont have a bestfight because they all are incredible , but this is great one, watch how fast he steps back then forward ect when he dodges , this man truly is one incredible martial artist.

IP man 1 & 2 are incredible if you havent seen go do so now !!!!

  • He got hit so many times, oh please this so isn't his best fight.

It isn't the one against 10 guys either, because those guys were obviously not his match, and they approached him one by one or maximum 3 at a go, he wasn't really fending off 10 guys at one time.

I think it would be his fight with Collin Chou in Flash Point. It was really brutal, especially when his back was smashed against the floor and the metal railings. Both fighters were almost on par, that would be one of his best fights.

  • At least this is is actually feasible and not crazily exaggerated :)

  • his best fight was with sammo

  • For me The best fight of Donnie Yen is vs wu jing in SPL

  • LMAO!!!! @ 49 to 52 seconds. That dude lasted 1 second LITERALLY!!!

  • I agree with anikid0392, IP Man fight against 10 guys was awesome, but in addition the final fight against the Japanese General was great. ome of the best choreography I've seen...

  • I Just Got Into Donnie Yen Recently and the first thing that went to mind was why the fuck havent i known about him earlier this guy is amazing best fights i've ever seen especially flashpoint and Ip man..... cant wait to get Ip Man and more of his movies

  • Donnie Yen is better than Jackie Chan and Jet Li... by far

  • good. but definitely not the best

  • Flash POINT HANDS DOWN

  • best fight of Donnie Yen was the Legend of Wolf

  • I disagree. I think the best fight was against Colin Chou in Flashpoint.

  • is that sammo hung? the guy with the moustache at 0:10 ... ?

  • Nope.

  • @guitardaddy6- agreed. He is only starting the climax in his career...

  • donnie yen's best fight is in Ip man.

  • in this movie donny yen died :( fucking director =D

  • That director happens to be Yuen Woo Ping, one of the greatest action directors in Hong Kong. Blame ther writers ;)

  • Snoop Dogg?

  • Superman punch at 1:16

  • this is just a sick display of accurracy and timing

  • donnie started learning kung fu since 7 years old. so for all those years until now, you tell if he can take the punch or not?

  • At the age of 4 actually.

  • His best fight was versus 10 guys in Ip Man

  • I liked his fight in Flash Point.

  • @sincitydude31 I gota agree with you there, the grappeling moves he uses mixed with awsome CQB skills makes it such a crazy fight!~

  • @seelangay Is that move by Uma Thurman fighting Caine @the end of Kill Bill 2 a real Kung fu move? The scene where she uses the 'chest moves' while fighting from the chair??????

  • @another1ish Yeah it is, but those moves are almost never used, the 'Chest moves' she did on Caine are just tapping on his nerves kinda like acupuncture, go watch Once Upon a Time in China where Jet Li portrays Wong Fei Hung at this one scene in a medical seminar where he explains the usage of acupuncture, pretty good movie and some awsome action scenes too.

  • @another1ish You are the BOMB seelangay for responding to my question!!!!!! 'Discipline' is and sould be admired by all don't you think?

  • fUCK yea.!

  • Try fighting 4 at once, and not one by one. ;)

    But Donnie all the way!

  • @anikid0392

look at the date of that video . Ip man isnt out yet at that time

  • @anikid0392

    so fucking true

  • @anikid0392 I agree

  • no way near his best fight!!

  • indeed. Just one of the best.

  • although these movie actors got bad ass moves, this guy shows that in this movie he can take a punch, but what if someone really hit him like that, would he knock out? haha, i think he would

  • donnie is not just an actor hes a skilled martial artist i think in his life time (which apparently was hard up) he has taken many a punch and stood up. love his style.

  • owh!that great!

  • Those kicks are so amazingly crisp!

  • Wow, that was a great fight! It takes a lot of skill to do that without hurting each other.

    Incredible speed.

  • i says IP and Flash Point.

  • ipman an flash BIG BIG MOVIES, dat suplex he does in flash is jus DISSSSSGUSTINGLY SICK. sigh

  • Ip Man vs 10 Blackbelt's better

  • i second this. but this clip was still entertaining.

  • third. Ip Man has some sick fights. The best I've seen in a long time.

  • fourth

  • DONNIE YEN RULES!!!!!!!!!

  • wow I didn't know Ng man tat played with Donnie Yen, LOL, I love all Ng Man tat movie they are comedy, Roflol!!!

  • do you know where I can buy or order Ng Man tat's movie along with the two little shaolin monk. I'm also looking for Ng Man tat's movie called "Troublemaker."

  • probably at a major mall at the kiosks that sell the kung fu flix

  • whats the name of this film?? it's pretty old

  • In The Line Of Duty 4

  • nice nice nice!

  • Donnie Yen best fight that is clear of he is the best !!!

  • nO, he is much better, this is not the best.

  • true

  • Donnie Yen is more towards introverted type of guy..he doesn't like to indulge in fame or whatsoever..

  • Maybe that's why here in Argentina this guy is almost unknown!! I am finding out about him thanks to Youtube... the man is great!! Although comparisons are not fair, especially when Jackie, Jet and Donnie are quite different in style (never seen an Eastern Martial Artist using so many jujistsu and MMA techniques in a film)

  • great vid

  • Why evereboby thinks than Jackie's just an actor, and coudn't fight on real life? Jackie is master in Wing Tsun, Judo, Boxe, Tae Kwan Do and many styles of Kung Fu. Jackie is a great figther for sure, just like Yuen Biao, Samo Hung and Yuen Wah... and then was formed on Beijing Opera School, just like Jackie!!!

  • i think u over exaggerated too much. Jackie doesn't know judo or taekwondo. He just knows kung fu, meaning weapons, fist fighting, and different forms of kung fu like wing chun and stuff. Yes he is a real fighter, everyone just looks on the way he acts in movies. Bruce Lee worked with Jackie before so u gotta know that.

  • Wrong. Jackie knows judo and taekwondo. Jackie knows many fighting styles. Just Jet Li just uses wushu.

  • don't think so

  • All i know he is a Stuntman.

  • In his autobiography "I Am Jackie Chan" Jackie said he was intimidated by a few thugs in Hong Kong, early in his career (as in, he was young and jacked but knew he couldn't pull off a "Jackie Chan" in real life).

  • jet li was born into martial arts too, just search jet li training and youll see him training, he won competitions n such

  • Jackie is actually an actor first, he went to acting school, not martial arts school. Donnie's mom is an instructor so he was born into the martial arts. I'm not sure with Jet Li, but I know he did wushu, just like Donnie.

  • Agree

  • Both the guys Donnie Yen is fighting still work with him today. Mike Woods was in the white jacket is one of his best friends and so is the other guy.

  • I think when he was young, he wanted to make a name for himself. There for the Bruce Lee's Jeet Kun Do. Now if you see him now, like Killzone. He's really good in his own right.

  • You know after watching this scene you can see just how far Asian Film making has come, and the you begin to respect the classics that much more.

  • hahaha donnie beating kimbo haha

  • Comment removed

  • How come in school movies they move so much faster and fight better. now they fight scenes look slower and.

  • THIS VIDEO IS AWSOME

  • Jackie Chan and Benny "The Jet" Urquidez in the movie Wheels On Meals is one of the best fight scenes.

  • My favorite fight scene of all time is Donnie Yen vs. Sammo Hung

  • very nice video

  • lol. go out of your laughable senses and learn to differentiate reality and what you see onscreen.

  • BeatNo1- Is a insane fan of donnie yen. Please look at Donnie's Fist of fury and Jet's fist of legend- u will realise who is a better MA, in terms of speed, skills and movements. Donnie always like to show off regardless what and imitates Bruce lee(insanely). Jet has been 5 times national champion of china, and he has got vast area of expertise, just visit his official site. Donnie is jack of all trades, master of none. He doesn't have any control on his attitude. Agressiveness and hard-hitting

  • C'mon, man, even Jackie Chan could beat Jet Li. Be a cahmpion of this kind of tournament don't make him best fighter or not. Any of Opera School students could beat both Donnie Yen and Jet Li

  • Jet Li did wushu, a performance art. Jackie Chan got kung fu lessons in acting school. Donnie Yen did taekwondo, more sport than martial art. To be honest, I think they are all actors first, martial artists second

  • i think quentin tarantino should direct shan chi for marvel starring donnie yen

  • lol at 20-23 seconds, he flips over fake but funny good combination of old action + unintentional comedy.

  • Which movie is this?

  • Tiger Cage.

  • Very Fast punches:

    Bruce Lee and Donnie Yen

  • ahh fuck

    Bruce LEE

dammit up all night and the typos are setting in

  • Jet Li and Donnie Yen are both Wushu masters...

    argue over them

but all time bests i say are Bruce Li, Jet Li, and Tony Jaa

  • your opinion.

  • Bruce Li is a master of Jeet Kune Do, hell he invented it, Tony Jaa - Muay Thai, Jackie Chan - Kung Fu

  • ah the classic who's a better martial artist arguement. They're completely different at what they do. You cant say which is better. So im not going to get inot this arguement.

But then, if people insist on argueingm then i do this...

I'm not saying my opinion on this person or any other, but what about Jackie Chan? is he the best? Oh, and I'll throw Sammo Hung into the mix as well.

Oh this'll be good. Can't wait to see the replies I get to this comment.

  • jackie is a good actor! and sammo hung is good because he looks like one of my cousin lol, he is big but hella good! =D

  • Sammo Hung and Jackie Chan are pretty damned awesome in my opinion. I like them both a lot.

  • I think I've seen better of his fights.

  • victor you fkn dumcunt, get your shit right, theres nothing fantasy about multiple national wushu champion you fuckturd

  • hes had much better fights than this

  • jet li the best .this is the shit

  • no man donnie yen is the best, jet li is more fantasy martial art he cant really do half the shit in his movies

  • Jet Li doesn't make great movies anymore.

  • Dam donnie yen is a beast

  • best fight is always the black guy and donnie yen.

  • such speed and flexibilities

  • i notice he fights michael woods alot in his movies.

  • Yeh he's part of his stunt team!

  • good fight.... but i like Legend of the Wolf better. anyway it take some time when i was a kid to like him. i give him a nicknamed at that time "Rabbit teeth". Well in those days, his front tooth is quite distracting to me :D.

  • I think if there was ever a movie based off of Sega's game series Shemu, Donnie Yen would totally have to play as Ryo, or whatever the main dude's name was. Haha.

  • this fight is great , he fight just like me, just kidding

  • action choreographer or fight director.

  • well you see the thing is donnie yen isn't a full time actor in hong kong he's more or a martial arts trainer for celebrities not that i'm saying he's not good or whatever but his courses are intense courses for celebrities who need a crash course in martial arts for a movie

  • SPL is totally cool. Zoom in on the parts where Donnie goes up against Wu Jing & Sammo Hung.

  • Donnie Yen been around for a long time and is not recognize enough in North America. He is slowly being noticed here because his latest movies are just starting to be English dubbed like Dragon Tiger Gate, SLP, and Seven Swords. I hope to see a lot more of this guy; he kicks ass.

  • this movie (despite being a supporting actor) actually propelled him into getting bigger roles such as In The Line Of Duty 4, the superior "follow-up" Tiger Cage 2 and finally his big breakthrough (at the time before heading into the dark once again, only to return to superstardom with 2005's SPL) in Once Upon A Time In China 2. as for this fight, it's actually very good in my books.

  • As great as Jet Li, Jackie Chan, and Bruce Lee? I hope this wasn't an example of one of this guy's best scenes, because this was terrible.

  • you're right, this video was added more than a year ago, so it definitely ain't his best fight. go watch sha po lang and flashpoint for starters

  • check him out in dragon tiger gate

  • Check him out against Jet in Hero. He is for real. His mother is Bow Sim Mark, one of the top internal martial artists alive

  • Michael Woods the black guy are best friends to this day still work together. The other guy John with the staff works with him as well.

  • flashpoint had best end fight scene for a donnie yen movie.

  • is donnie yen and micheal best friends

  • yeah they are.

  • man flash point had the best fights ever donnie yen wa amazing in that movie

  • where do i get a retractable spear like that guy? He pulls it out of nowhere

  • micheal woods how cna u keep coming back oy life lol

  • how many movies is donnie yen and this guy in lol but i lvoe donnie yen biggest fan for him

  • how long ago was this movie shot?

anyway i think the background music is a little =.=

reminds me of Tom & Jerry, offence

  • *no offence I meant

  • flashpoint. don't miss it!

  • it gets cooler when he starts mixing MMA moves into his style. Donnie's crazy with the judo throws and flying armbars

  • out of all the action stars... Jackie, Jet... Donnie kicks the most ass. Best kicks and best punches.

  • I am just now seeing more and more of Donnie. I love Jet Li and Jackie, and Donnie seems to be as great as them.

  • Donnie deserves more shine then he has.... Iv been a fan since the 90's... is style'S are fitting to each fight scene, and he kicks are incredible...

  • donnie yen is like soh muck bruce lee

  • The black guy you are all refering to is mike woods he's along with the other guy with the spear is stephan berwick they arte both among the early donnie yen stunt team.

  • seen this film back in the day.. think its still called surefire.. donnie yen done some sick moves in this

fight, love the sugaray leonard punch.. ends up gettin killed after this sequence by is superintendant

  • jackie chan - great stunts and great comedian

jet li - great form and speed

donnie yen - best all round 'for real' fighter

  • I agree with that wholeheartedly

  • This is from Tiger Cage. One of Donnie's best. Great action flix.

  • Very good fight scene, but when Donnie gets killed in the movie it seems very out of place. He can not kick so much ass just to get shot in head like side character.

  • ... Thanks for the spoiler =/

  • Holy! I like this one

  • when was the last time you seen a black man do karate?!

  • In Enter the Dragon :P

  • the black guy is definitely a good fighter for his size... he owns tae bo

  • Yeah

  • Go get the book, "Wushu Basics", by Bow Sim Mark. It has excellent photos of Donnie, and all 3 of them from 1981-85. Just looking at the stills of Donnie exercising, you can tell he is for real, and Bow Sim Mark is unreal. She is recognized as one of the top Wudang sword masters, as well as combinded Tai chi masters in the world

  • quote elevated DONNIE YEN on the level of jackie chan or jet li f not even better.

uh so who is donnie yen anyways?

  • globally not yet...but in asia yes he has attained the status of jackie. He is the better screen fighter than the two, dont get me wrong i like the 3 of them

  • he's one of donnies student..same kick..

  • This scene is from TIGER CAGE! Check it out! Sweet!

  • Donnie YEn Learn many type of martial art. From Tai Chi Quan,Wushu,Taekwon-Do,Kickboxing!

  • thanks for additonal info..

  • Good fight

  • In 1982, the martial arts magazine, 'Inside Kung-Fu' named Donnie Yen, 'Martial Artist of the Year'. Donnie is not the only member of the Yen family to practice martial arts. His sister, Yen Chi Ching, has won numerous medals in international martial arts competitions. His mother, Bow Sim Mark, is a very famous martial arts master of Tai Chi Chuan and Pa Kua Chang and she was named "Instructor of the Year" by 'Black Belt' magazine and 'Woman of the Year' by 'Inside Kung Fu' magazine.
