You know what the funny thing is? When Midway made Mortal Kombat II and it was ported to SNES, the Japanese version got censored by giving all kombatants green blood and turning screen black-and-white during Fatalities.
This stage looks far better this way, censure sux man!! I think this is possibly one of the best and most well designed stages in video game history ever.
Wow, it certainly is interesting to see this stage in action for the Japanese version of the game, I always envisioned that the stage would look drastically different with the blood added as opposed to the slime, it turns out I was right.
