I'm doing polka dots on my nails right now, actually. (: Hotpink with white dots. I've found that a pen works really well too with making the dots.

Within 10 seconds it is dry to the touch and within a minute it is hard. I really love it. Gives a great glossy shine also.

I'm terrible when it comes to applying a perfect coat. Shaking the bottle or not, I get bubbles! And no matter how many hours I wait (even 7 hrs.) before bed, I always get sheet marks! And if I use a frost polish I get uneven streaks! UGH!

Maybe you could do a basic tutorial on the proper way to successfully apply polish. Although I'm nailpolish-challenged, I'm determined to learn & practice until I get it at least satisfactory.

The pic with the yellow nails is actually the faux french tip I did in another video. In the pic I did a yellow base (2 coats) and black and white alternating dots. I will get a tutorial up with those colors soon :)

Hey Hilary, don't knock yourself out, I'll just find & watch the video where you already did the faux french tip!  But a basic how-to on applying nailpolish correctly & successfully would be greatly appreciated. Call is Nailpolish 101 or Nailpolish Application for Dummies - lol!

The Seche Vite top coat gets raves in ut videos, so I thought you may have already tried it. Don't go spending $ on my account. I'll just buy & try both!

The top caot she uses fast forward china glaze is amazing get it it really really helps dry ur nails so no marking problems there and fyi cheaper brands usually are the ones that streak so try opi or china glaze also a ceramic base coat will help for streaking and.. Dont shake ur polish too much shake a lil a roll the bottle n ur hand to help fully mix it this will prevent bubble.. and the better the brand usually thicker polish n less bubbles.. ;)

Hilary, have you ever tried the raved about Seche Vite(?) top coat? If so, how does it compare to the CG Fast Forward top coat?

Please do a video on how you made the stripes on your finger tips (in the pic w/ the yellow nailpolish) so perfectly straight.
