Jim had a great range and did a wonderful job everywhere and with everyone he sang with! His father had a church in Memphis on McLemore that we used to sneak out and go to....great music and great people!
Absolutely beautiful..Jim Hamill...i love him..he had such soul in his voice..and he sang so natural...and the 'Sarge' on bass what a crew in this Qt..love,love the Rebels!
we are so blessed by your inventory of this great music. I bow my head, tip my cap and with bended knee thank you for this more... and like the beggar, cry for more , more , more. Thank you.
My goodness. I love seeing Hamill singing flat-footed. People tend to think of him as a clown because of his emcee work and showmanship with the Kingsmen, but the man was the best lead (2nd tenor) ever.
What a great, classic Southern Gospel quartet. It's easy to see why The Rebels were so popular. And man, that London's bass work! WOW!!!! Thanks for another great old gospel classic and God bless you for sharing it with the rest of us. MoJoPiano
Miss Hamill and London. They were 2 of the best in the business.

It was nice when JD came up with the 4 mike setup for quartets...with three on a mike, it is hard to find a space to be seen and also heard!
