The criticism of airport security is pure hogwash. NOBODY is FORCED to participate in these (scans, pat downs, etc) procedures. Absolutely everyone is free to walk away at any time. You voluntarily agree to such when you CHOOSE to fly on an aircraft. If you don't want to be subjected to this, the bloody obvious solution is to choose another means of transportation. Drive a car, take a cruise ship, hire a private plane, or whatever.

The best way to respond to a TSA employee, not officer b/c they have little to no police training, is to be extremely mature, if they pat you down or do a body scan, possibly both, simply comply to this. At the end of the "search" ask for the employee's name and supervisor, say that your lawyers will be in contact and you will be suing them, and their supervisor for abuse of power. and if you have the means, do so. If not it may scare them if you kept your cool and acted professorially.

The criticism of airport security is pure hogwash. NOBODY is FORCED to participate in these (scans, pat downs, etc) procedures. Absolutely everyone is free to walk away at any time. You voluntarily agree to such when you CHOOSE to fly on an aircraft. If you don't want to be subjected to this, the bloody obvious solution is to choose another means of transportation. Drive a car, take a cruise ship, hire a private plane, or whatever.

How is this groping? I have read a few articles on how a very small percentage (less than 1%) of TSA Agents have acted inappropriately, but this agent simply performed a thorough pat down, and with the fact that she was explaining every step made it seem like training to me. Either way, at no time did she inappropriately grope that child. People don't understand, in this country we view children as innocent, helpless and adorable.

In someway i agree with tsa you cant have random screening checks and not check normal people. If the tsa checked an arabian family and didnt check their kid there would be some people wondering why. If the kid didnt get checked it would be even worse.

The best way to respond to a TSA employee, not officer b/c they have little to no police training, is to be extremely mature, if they pat you down or do a body scan, possibly both, simply comply to this. At the end of the "search" ask for the employee's name and supervisor, say that your lawyers will be in contact and you will be suing them, and their supervisor for abuse of power. and if you have the means, do so. If not it may scare them if you kept your cool and acted professorially.

@JmanK2015 Except for the fact that unless there is blatant wrongdoing, with evidence to back it up, they are simply performing their duties as appointed by the Department of Homeland Security and therefore protected from legal action.
