I played this game about a week and quit. The maps were barren, and you'd be lucky to find 3+ people in a city.
Clan wars are what make this game, but you need to have trained for like a hundred hours to even be able to last 5 seconds in one.
It's incredibly difficult to start out, and you almost always get gang raped by the mob you attack...even the lowest level goblin will almost kill you if you attack it...and if you kill it someone else just takes the loot.

I read a Developer's interview some years ago, they said that if there's one guy who has spent like 100 hours playing and 5 who have spent 1 - 2, who know how to teamwork, they are definitely going to win... Soloing is something impossible in this game.

Well open-beta is scheduled to end in december so either end-december or january i reckon it will be out.
Hopefully this game will work as intended and can live up to what they have said it would be otherwise this may become the biggest disappointment in mmorpg history however if they pull it off it will be come the greatest mmo we have ever seen before! imo

Sad thing is, i thought the same about age of conan.
I thought omfg, a game that wil actually quench my thirst to do whatever the hell i want, until i realised it was just like wow except with a shitty client and poor performance all round.
I think this game looks like a mix of Oblivion, (a bit of wow, sorry) and the concept behind age of conan with the whole kingdom thing.
BUT, THIS GAME IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUUUUUUUUUCH MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE!!!

Btw, this is nothing like Age of Conan. Age of Conan PvP is pretty much like WoW. No death penalty other then a debuff... big fuckin deal. I want you to lose hours of hard work when I kill you so you will watch your mouth next time and show some respect :D. That along with the fact that this game is more based on actual player skill and not who has played longer, that is a brain orgy. This is almost to good to be true i can hardly believe it. I have only dreamed about something like this.

I would literally pay 50$ a month to play this game, ontop of a 200$ client price(No im not rich, I'm poor as fuck.). I have been searching for so long, for a game with some REAL pvp. Fully lootable corpses satisfies me completely. Used to be that only classic MMO's had pvp like this. I will be counting the seconds untill this game arrives.

Darkfall is MAYBE going to be pay/month, but anyways...
Screw the graphics bullshit, people frowned at Supreme Commander and neglected it because the graphics of C&C3 were better, even though SupCom is the best RTS out there.
Crysis also has uber graphics, but it isn't the best game by long, as a matter of fact, it tends to get boring... FAST.
Bitches should shut the fuck up about graphics, gameplay is way more important.
Also, Darkfall win own WoW, thinking the opposite is rather stupid

Just think of trying to have even better graphics combiend with how dynamic this game is you f*cking moron.
Games tried this and all it did was make the game laggy and unenjoyable for those without great (or very great computers).
I'm not defending this game because I'll play it because I don't think I'll be playing it. Looks like a great game for those who like skill bases though.
PS: Look closely at the graphics of this game, I don't see your problem , but they look great to me.

I doubt it will get as many players as WoW but it looks like a better game, after all WoW is the McDonalds of MMOs its hard to compeet with that.
