Usually i like fun, silly action movies, but what makes a fun movie is good pacing, this was rushed, forced, contrived, and went to WAAY too many locations with stopping and taking a breath. The chemestry sucked, hollywood sucks and is manipulative, the movie is mediocre, way too mediocre, if i want good old fasion action with great fun, id watch lethal weapon 2 or true lies, knight and day sucks

Knight and Day was amazing, Cruise is mega funny with Diaz. I love the jokes and how it isn't always serious and you can watch this with kids without having to worry about Cruise getting too friendly with a girl. I loved it and shut up haters. Tom Cruise is the best actor of our time.

This movie was better than I expected. Tom does go from extreme energy to a bit darker. Diaz does smile alot but hey both those actors have good smiles. The locations are okay, I mean Tom plays a spy, and I don't think spies stay in like one city all the time. I liked it, and love to see if they could make a second one, but amp it up...yupe I want there to be a Knight and Day two.

You know why this movie didn't do very well in the US? Because most people were sick of seeing Tom Cruise everywhere with his creepy smile and laughing while showing all his teeth and looking all crazy and then when we see him on the big screen doing this comedy and he's doing his crazy smile again we're reminded of Cruise in real life.

Hard to separate his movie characters and his real life wacky behavior now.

I watched this movie tonight and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it!!!! Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise both were spectacular and funny in this wonderful romance/action thriller. My hubby sat down and watched it all the way through with me, and he NEVER does that! Great one hour and 49 minutes of fun!

Okay, if you see or hear bad comments about this movie, ignore. This movie is great. Don't know why it got so many bad reviews. Strangely, folks either LOVE or hate it. It's good!! My view is not to be tainted by the fact I've had a crush on Cameron since "My Best Friend's Wedding".

@ShakinJonny Fair enough, loved the Bourne movies though, but maybe they didn't seem as cheesy. Mission impossible-no, but maybe it's the whole Tom C. issue. I prefer a leading man to stand above 5 ft 6 in and have hands larger than mine : ) Bond movies- Connery is my guy, loved him. Generally I choose action flicks over chick flicks. Fair enough that you loved it but the critics generally sided with me on this one. Still I'm glad you enjoyed the movie. Have a great day..

the movie was great. sure there were some cliche moments, but they fit in perfectly with the atmosphere of the movie. There were enough plot twists, action scenes and funny moments to keep me entertained through the whole movie and I don´t regret watching it in the slightest!! Totally recommend it.

Tom Cruise is awesome in this movie!! Cameron Diaz, while I don't usually love her, was a good choice for Cruise's love interest overall. The movie is excellent! Any cheesiness these critics mention plays right into the film's mood.

What's the song played as June is kidnapping him from the hospital? It's just for a few seconds when he's rolling down the corridor. It's in a high pitched voice and I could barely catch the lyrics "and I got xxx way to go, such a long way" "make it to the..."

It sounds a wee bit like "Ride like the wind" by Christopher Cross but is obviously not that.

This was an awesome, fun, summer movie! Sure, it was pretty unbelievable, but so are many good action / adventure movies. There was lots of both action and fun, and my 15 year old son and I both really enjoyed the movie. I liked it so much I'm taking my 13 daughter to see it tonight. Honestly, I like it better than both Iron Man and Prince of Persia for pure entertainment value. I give it 7 of 10 stars (on my rating scale)! Some critics take fun movies was too seriously.
