Yeah, I'm still in London but not really in touch with any of the De Crespigny lot. Still acting and directing, still making little films but this year has been tough.

Can imagine those blogs eating up the time. Remember that they're utillities and don't have to be well edited. People are just interested about what happened!

Keep at it buddy and gimme a shout if you need and evening off and a beer.

Thanks for all the great comments. It seems that the overwhelming majority of you want me to keep on as I am but ideally a bit quicker! :-) I will try to speed up the editing but might have to get another editor to help me edit the blogs as I am clearly struggling just doing it myself. NOTE I am talking about the blogs not the film! :-) I also need to apologise - I have left for a real holiday for the first time in 2.5 yrs, so the next blog will be delayed, :-( I didn't get time to do it b4.

I agree. The slowness is bugging me too. Problem is each blog takes a day to edit and I am having to do them after work (which often overruns), so I'm finding it takes about 3-4 evenings to do, so to do one every week just kills my social life and to sit at a computer for that length of time after spending all day in front of it gets sooo depressing! Am considering getting a blog editor, :-)

I don't think you should tell us where you are now, but keep telling the story chronologically: it's very interesting to watch it unfold. If you were to make one, I'd put a big spoiler alert on it so as to warn people who don't want to watch it (but that doesn't stop comments being made on later videos; a minor issue at most).

I've found your storytelling to be excellent, and after stopping watching Youtube regularly and deleting my account, this was the only thing I came back for!

Rob, please don't tell us the end result. I think it's truly great that you and Gaby are still together and whatnot, and I believe you make a very good point when you say that it's important to show the struggle and fights that came along with the movie projects.

Regardless of if you actually have finished the movie or not in the end, these blogs you are posting here are amazing and give the viewers a profound look at how such a project can change one's life and it tells a story of its own.

Keep running the blogs in the order you have been - I've been following your blogs since somewhere around 15 or so, and I did go back and watch the ones I've missed to catch up before I got to this point. I think some people might find that a daunting task now, 15 is much easier to catch upon than 46

i think that the journey of the blogs and the range of emotions in them are more interesting than a one man film, i started watching and subscribed since the first blog, its been too long, i think you're loosing some of the viewers, only those that are really into it are still here.

a two week interval between blogs is too much, with all the hype of daily bloggers, just a week on youtube feels like a decade in real life. if everything is ready, can't you make it a twice a week show/series?

Understood! I got caught up in the 'Now' of the narrative, rather than the fact it was filmed a while ago. A whole year ago, thats insane. As far as what to focus on, youre the filmmaker, in essence, these blogs are just editing a different kind of film from the one youre making, so just reflect the story that happened and keep it interesting. You have all the skills needed. I still feel uncomfortable watching the bickering, and hope theres a resolution somewhere ahead.
