  • The only thing I never got when I saw the colorized version was the zombies COULDN'T have looked like that, because Barbara would've noticed something was wrong with a green man in the cemetery.

  • This was the FIRST time I ever saw this masterpiece. Although I prefer lousy color over black and white, I can't argue that black and white IS scarier and horror is supposed to be just that; but I like colorized too. Either way, it's scary and that's what makes a great horror film.

  • Nothing beats Dawn of the Dead (1978). That's just my opinion so please don't get offended anyone. :-)

  • @DuranieCrowdie4Life I don't take "offense" because that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. To me, Dawn is second ONLY to Night. Why? Because, while's it's a more elaborate and in depth story, it's not scary - Night is scary. I do, however, give both movies 5 out of 5 stars and Dawn is the ONLY zombie movie that comes close to Night for best zombie movie.

  • It's true, this colorized version of 1986 was horrible, but well, in that time there wasn't the technology of nowadays. The 2004 colorization brings a very realistic sensation.

But, nothing's better than the B&W original =)

  • black&white is way scarier!

  • is there a torrent for this?

  • Thats the terribly colorized version, a better version exists. The color in the new version looks realistic.

  • oooo green zombies!
