I'm used to The Show's lag and it doesn't bother me. I like the ranking system in this game and the pitching is really fun. I'm not the best hitter online, but I make it up with my pitching.

the controls are a hell of a lot better than this too, the stick is better for swinging and pitching, buttons are stupid, there is no motion at all. and the animation is definitely not as smooth

I hope you're kidding. 2K9 is an absolute joke. If I had a PS3, I'd get the show in a heartbeat. 2k9 isn't even close to the quality of The Show. Read any reviews, Gamepot gave 2k9 a 4.3 out of 10...
