  • I first did the Lockwood/ Miller Jeep Trail in 1993. This was before the Forest Sevice rerouted it, so you had to take the long way around to Miller Jeep. I liked the old route so much better because you stayed on the bottom of the mountain and criss crossed the creek many times. Also there is this really nice camp spot called Cottonwood camp. I do believe there is a spir somewhere off the new trail to get to this awsome campsite. You can find out more about Cottonwood from the forest service.

  • I applaud you; no lockers, 2" lift, AT tires, and a Jeep full of youngsters! You were doing so well the littlest one fell asleep - LOL! Rock on daddy-o! I own an '06 Rubicon Unlimited with 3" lift, JKS QD drop links and 32" MT/R's. Never needed to use the lockers on Millers with the MT/R's, they have gobs of traction.

  • Thanks for the words. I did jet strapped on Lockwood and Yellow Jacket aas there were two obstacles that were just too much for the my Jeep. On Miller however I picked the right lines, and until the last obstacle, did not need a spotter. I was pumped!
