  • it that one of the wkd corsets? (sorry unrelated)

  • @healerheart I believe this one is the Josephine underbust from Isabella Corsetry, but the WKD Morticia is very similar in silhouette (this one is kind of rounded in the waist instead of sharp and wasp-waisted like the Morticia). :)

  • I have that problem! I have such a boy-ish figure and I hate it :I I just wish I had some nice hips D:

  • What a remarkable study. How intriguing! This is so informative and interesting. I couldn't ask for more.

  • @TheMerrow3 Thank you very much! :)

  • Youu soo sexyy!! L

  • I love your analogy about how if you were a guy, you'd be in drag "being a girl is fun." I agree with your analogy. Mine is, "If I were a woman, I'd be a lesbian."

  • Where do you bye your corsets from?.... Love your videos by the way

  • do you have any videos about overbust corsets?? and how sizing in them work?? i wanna buy one soo bad ^.^'

  • @loneydolly I have done several reviews on various overbusts corsets from What Katie Did and Axfords corset companies, if you go into my "Corset Reviews" playlist or just search for "Antoinette Corset Review" "Tempest Corset Review" etc you can find them and I test out the fitting in the bust area. Generally an overbust corset is fit the same way as underbusts, most places just go by waist size. I like my overbusts to be about 2" bigger than my underbust corsets though - gives more room up top.

  • @bishonenrancher thanks soo much!! very helpful info ^-^

  • I agree with you wholeheartedly. If I were a girl, I'd SO be lesbian. because I love women so much that I think it's unfair that they're allowed to wear such pretty soft garments that flatters their curves, but guys aren't. Damn double standard.

  • Cute outfit!!

  • That Corset is amazing! i want one lol! x

  • It's refreshing to see a lacer who has done their homework and can speak articulately on the subject. There is SO MUCH misinformation and urban legends out there concerning corsets.

I presume you're aware that many Victorian gentlemen and military officers wore corsets nearly identical to women's, other than the tailoring to make them more suitable to the shape of the male torso. Great video, thank you for posting it!

One tip: could you maybe pick up an inexpensive lapel mic to kill the echo?

  • Hope you had a Happy Halloween, Lucy.

  • First may I say you look stunning in yours, Yes i cross dress but did not discover corsets until about two years ago, Tried it for a few days and quit, Hated it then, Got rummaging in my closet for Halloween and found mine. Put it on. I was able to lace it closed. I took an odd pride in that. With my falsies I have a Jessica Rabbit figure, Make or female I encourage you to try one, It is a lost art,

  • upload some breathing lessons plz!

  • @SinaArtism I have a video called "Corsets, Lungs and Breathing." I would link it here but Youtube doesn't allow that. If you just search for the title it will come up. :)

  • haha, thanks for the puppy outtake! and yes, that is a grat top

I think your right, you girls get all the fun pretty things to wear, I'm jealous. Not just skirt, formal dresses too.

  • I like wearing woman clothes but I'm afraid of going out to buy them.

  • @laalecdj saw your post, i was afraid at first, I buy mostly online BUT,,,i did discover,,,many stores...are quite helpful. I was in a Target looking at bras in DRAB (Dressed AS boy). Clerk amazed me....I could have been shopping for my girl friend, but she asked me,, "do you know your size?" meaning ME!

    they will help

  • ive noticed that men at comic conventions and anime cons a lot of people like to sell and wear kilts there so they are around. just hard to find.

  • To Wong Foo is a great movie. I just rewatched it and thought of this video of yours. Much love, Lucy~!

  • :) My boyfriend and I are goth, and an under-bust corset would look great on him. I like it when guys where corsets :)

  • wow if you where single i would ask you out on a Date your my dream girl ...anyhow am a guy but love to watch your videos dont now why

  • You are a very intelligent, informed, thorough and professional woman and I absolutely respect that. I will always watch your videos, because you operate on the level of intelligence that I relate to. Thank you for being so informative.

  • where do u buy corsets

  • You have the most gorgeous face.

  • It's great to hear your opinion on men & corsets, and even better that you have such an open-minded opinion! I'm a man who has recently realized my interest in corsets and waist training, and your videos are part of what inspired me to purchase my first corset. I have the same attitude as you about clothes, and I regularly wear clothing from the women's department, though I never crossdress or try to appear female. Men should be able to express themselves with clothing just as women do.

  • @MSpookshow If you don't mind me busting in on this but YES!!!!!!!! Men SHOULD be able to express themselves with all clothing styles, just as women do. :-D

  • BEING A GIRL IS FUN!!!!!! OMG I've always felt thay way. I like your perspective!

  • wow you look beautiful in that corset and blouse! I was looking to wear a corset sometimes, but how small would i have to wear one to have a noticeable difference without??

    thanks

  • Which corset are you wearing in this vid? IT'S GORGEOUS! O.O

    <3!

  • Very interesting video. And such a nice appearance. Corseting is really the thing for you. Stunning!

  • Are you wearing the morticia corset?

  • Hey, absolutely great vid! Like all the others! I am a huge fan of the female corsetted form, and the stunning appearance it gives. Wish more ladies wore them, and lost their anti-corset stereotype attitude. Oh, and your kilt comment? awesome, I live in London and own a couple of kilts. I have happily worn them as everyday wear, and the general feedback I got was positive. I am a huge believer in using fashion for a creative outlet and even if I am lone voice at times, I don't care! Its fun!

  • i think she looks kind of goofy in that corset. needs to be loosened or something. her boob/hip to waist ratio looks pretty ridiculous

  • @opiumized that's what corsets are supposed to do, genius.

  • @MissTerymeat i'm pretty sure i've seen corsets on women that don't go to such a degree that it looks that ridiculous. eye shadow is supposed to be pretty, but too much is clown territory.

  • @opiumized Negative and argumentative commenters will be blocked. Law states you have a right to voice your opinion, however common courtesy states that if you can't say something nice, don't say anything. If you don't like my video, don't watch it.

  • The shirt please! I love it! Where did you get it? Please answer.

  • @MsClaudia74 I buy almost all of my shirts at thrift stores or vintage boutiques!

  • Thanks for another great video, as usual. You look GREAT in that top & corset combo, wow!

  • @MultiSweetJessica You clearly didn't watch the whole video, and your comment only succeeds in making you look foolish.

  • You are absolutely amazingly pretty girl!

  • who made the corset you're wearing now?- its amazing!

  • oh my where did you get that shirt from and if you made it please do a tut

  • If I was a woman, I would SO be a lesbian. I'd be straight round to Portia de Rossi's house before you could say "Moist":-)

  • You are so freaking cute! I got a great giggle at the end! You look amazing! I love that shirt...I want one?! I completely agree with you. Too many people judge with out knowing. Love your vids!

  • btw u do look absolutely amazing in this video. there, i reinstated my straightness ah-haha

  • it's so true... girls can wear just absolutely anything to flaunt or cover up, enhance, brighten, express others to proceed with caution, what have u-- and i must admit that does look like so much fun. sometimes i wish i could at least dress like jimi hendrix and somehow get away with it. add to that, i have tried on a girlfriend's corset before (she told me to, but yes i admit i did without hesitation)-- and i think if i was a chick i'd be wearing those things as often as humanly possible :P

  • I agree, people should wear whatever they please. I'm pretty sure that in Scottish heritage a kilt is actually considered very masculine and its sad how a lot of people in America judge when they have no place doing so. Love the puppy outtake lol would love to see your puppy =)

  • @BeautybyBianca I'm Scottish, and yes, a kilt is almost soley a man's thing. Unless she is wearing a sort of plaid skirt as a fashion item women only seem to wear them if they belong to a pipe band. But generally, seeing a woman wear a kilt is really rare

General consensus over here is that, man wearing a kilt=hot!

  • @TheEvilViolin Heartily agreed!

  • @BeautybyBianca you're SO right.

  • Love the video, very interesting and informational! Your corset is also beautiful might add. What is you waist in that one?
