  • nice interview

  • Don Grady don't age.

  • I adored Katie (in reruns, of course), loved when she and Robbie met. I thought she fit into things fairly seamlessly. But I had a soft spot for goofy Ernie. That episode where he thinks he's a jinx and has nightmares that about causing the Titanic sining and the Chicago fire still makes me laugh.

And exactly what fountain has Robbie been drinking from??? I can only hope to look that good at 50, nevermind 65...

  • Don Grady is fucking fine as hell!

  • I used to LIVE for the episodes with Don Grady. You could always see his manhood in those tight pants. Actually he was first crush.

  • @Shubael1809 you got that right....woof! He's still good looking.

  • I think she called Tina "Kim" because she looks a bit like Kim Novak.

  • what year is this from?

  • @howellfilm This was filmed live on the CBS Early Show in November 2009. I booked this segment. They are all available for: events, projects, personal appearances, etc. at Genesis Creations Entertainment

  • Wow, Barry Livingstone looks just like Mel (Richard Deacon) in the old Dick van Dyke shows!

What is Don Grady's secret in looking so young and youthful? Tina Cole looks petty spiffy too. Remember, this show ran from 1960-1972, a loooong time ago.

  • It's funny how they haven't changed the hairstyles too much, lol!!

  • @quietstormaps

... yes, you're right. Tina Cole probably hasn't changed hairdressers in 50 years! LOL.

  • oh yeah... My Three Sons was a real "trail blazer"! Are you joking. It was standard homogenized horseshit spoon fed to the American public to dictate Amurkun behavior. The only thing worth watching was Don Grady. DAMN but I wanted to give him head!

  • I saw a picture of Gordon Elliott in his youth and he looked like Ernie Douglas...LOL

  • I want to blow don grady.

  • Oh my!!! Thanks for posting this! They all look great - even little Ernie looks the same except for being bald. And yes, Don Grady - does he have a painting in the attic? Still hot hot hot!!!! Looks the same!!!!!

  • Tina's a hot MILF! She was the hottest babe on TV at the time on these siticoms. Well, okay, Elly May in tight jeans. And the Gilligan's Island babes. Tina had a lot of competition. And she's just naturally a decent woman who happens to be a bombshell. She giggles nice.

  • Tina still looks great.

  • I wish it were on somewhere in NC. Television has gone to the dogs, and I refuse to allow my children to watch it, but I would let them watch the old shows like this one. This was great viewing.

  • The show was boring until they moved to the new house and Tina Cole and Beverly Garland were brought onboard.

  • 2:42

the interviewer calls Tina Kim LMAO

  • In Johnson City, Tn. it comes on MeTV at 830 in the morning. I love this show!

  • I agree, Don looks just as handsome and Tina is just as pretty! Time has hardly passed for them!

  • I'd like to know why I don't see the reruns of this show on tv? Hallmark channel plays Little House On The Prarie and 'The Waltons' over and over and over and over again. Come on already, how about running these great old shows such as 'My Three Sons'?!?

  • @netmoney , it's on weekday mornings at 7:30 and also sundays at 2pm in Chicago on MeTV. However, they only run the color episodes, with uncle charley.

  • Tina. Wow.

  • Don= SEXY!!

    Dawn

  • Age has very kind to the stars of My Three Son's. Its probably contributed to good clean living!

  • @lennonzappa71, ignore my last post. After watching this clip I started feeling nostalgic and typed in "Osmonds Yo-Yo" but typed it in the comments section accidentally. What I REALLY wanted to say was that Don looks 20 years younger than he is; and that it's a shame that his younger sister Lani died the way she did, and too young.

  • Osmonds yo yo

  • WOW!!! Everyone looks great, especially Mr. A'Grady (yes, that's his birth name). The interview was not complete, though, without the awesome Tim Considine!! I was so hep on this show in the early 80s that I utilized MTS quotes in my high school (years later, my acting coach was horrified by this admission). I recently purchased some DVD's and watch them daily!! This wonderful show, + "Leave It To Beaver" made my childhood palatable!! Dave Lounder (Film Actor / Executive Producer)

  • THATS WHEN TIMES WERE GREAT,CAUSE NOW,ITS 1 BIG SHITTER,YOU CANT COMPARE,LIKE SHE SAID WE CAME FROM GOOD FAMILIES,AND I DONT MEAN WEALTH ITS SAD REALLY SAD,AS TIME GOES ON THINGS ARE SUPPOSED TO PROGRESS GET BETTER,SHIT ITS THE OPPOSITE,TWIN BEDS,COMPARE THAT TO NOW,SOMETHING WRONG IF YOUR NOT SCREWING,SAD WORLD SAD

  • I want to blow Don.

  • Those first few episodes of MTS were pretty intense in terms of the portrayal of father-son tension.

  • This video should squelch the rumour that Ernie was a Chinaman......You can plainly see here that Ernie is a white European American, and NOT a Chinaman.

  • Tina Cole was a King Cousin!

  • "Wow. Don Grady looks great for 65. Can pass for his 40's very easily." Looks younger than Barry and Stanley.

  • ERNIE!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!

  • WOW They were real Great on My Three sons a Very very very Great Show

They were Very Funny as well I Liked Them So Much.. GOD BLESS them in every way...

  • What is self sucking?

  • On November 24, Stanely Livingston will reach the big Six-O.

  • Don Grady in the Greefs! Look for his records. "A Good Man To Have Around The House" 1967. Sounds like a Kinks tune, but it's okay.

  • And let's not forget that Mike (Tim Considine) was the one time oldest brother. In real life, he didn't renew his contract after a falling-out w/ Exec producer Don Fedderson over his wish to direct but not co-star in the series. Also, Considine LOVED car racing, which his contract forbade. So Mike got married & was written out of the show & never mentioned again. That's when next door neighbor Ernie's parents deserted him & Steve Douglas adopted him to keep that 3 sons theme going.

  • @stoicjello Actually, Mike was mentioned in several episodes after Tim left the show. His character would telephone from Arizona and talk to Steve. In one episode, the boys thought Steve was remarrying and didn't want them around any longer. Uncle Charlie said they could go live with Mike and Sally in Arizona. This was not when Steve married Barbara, but a much earlier episode.

  • How could Tina say that William Demerest was nicer than Bill Frawley. She wasn't even on the show when Bill was there. Also, you notice how they didn't mention the other brother and the fact that they were also breaking ground because Ernie was adopted.

  • @auntbecky I see what you mean on Tina. I think she was just sticking up for Demerest and she should have said that he was real nice to her.

  • In one episode Ernie Douglas dated Marcia Brady.

  • @DarthSideous63

lol i think i actually remember that !

  • I always thot that was so original that they made Robbie(Don Grady) a wrestler in high school where the trite option was always footbore or basebore. Too bad he did'nt get into bodybuilding. He would have been excellent!

  • ROBBIE IS STILL CUTE!!!

  • Many people don't realise the show started on ABC, then moved to CBS because ABC wouldn't comitt to doing the show in color.Every guy loved Katie (Tina Cole) She was just totally gorgeous, and a lot of the girls adored Robbie (Don Grady) I wish they would just start the series from the very beginning on TV and go all the way through to teh end. Chip ended up getting married to a girl named Polly.

  • @parkman35 MTS was developed by Walt Disney while he was still at ABC as a half-hour version of The Shaggy Dog with former Mouseketeer Don Grady in the Tommy Kirk role and Stanley Livingston in the Kevin Corcoran role. When Disney left for NBC he relinquished all rights to ABC as part of the deal & ABC tweeked it so now Fred McMurray was a widower and Tim Considine ("Buzz" in The Shaggy Dog) was now the older brother but still source of competition for Grady. The English Sheepdog became Tramp.

  • @parkman35

Girls I knew back then tried to make their hair like Katie.

The guys laughed because she cried alot in the beginning.

I remember Polly and Chip when they eloped.

Everything about the show was very sweet and sentimental.

It's neat to see they all aged so well, contented and happy.

  • LOL....I really had the hots for Tina Cole (Katie) back in the late '60s and early '70s.

  • My They All Look Good. This Show was a Part of My Childhood.

  • @perpetual61

    Me too !!

  • Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! ROFL . . . I'd just love to see Mel Gibson's next project to be a TV sitcom where he played a TV dad.

  • @collegeman1988

Gibson can't do Fred MacMurray now. Too many nasty outbursts. lol

  • LOL! Chip looks the same and Ernie looks like Mel Cooley from the Dick Van Dyke show. And Don Grady is still quite the studmuffin

  • She thought she was talking to Kim Coles..

  • I loved My Three Sons in reruns of course. I don't remember the original episodes. I went to bed pretty early as a child, eight on weekdays and nine on Friday and saturday. Wow they still look great after all theses years, i wonder why Tim Considine didn't join them? Werent Don and Tina almost engaged later on? She was a divorcee with a little boy. I think they dated some in real life didn't they?

  • @Sheri451

    I never knew that.

  • the B&W episodes were funnier, the color episodes seems slower. I own all the episodes though thanks to the collectors.

  • William Frawley and William Demerest were cantankerous characters

  • tina is still beautiful

  • @dewbunny110362

She certainly is! Hubba hubba to the max, daddy-o!

    :-)

  • He's a good man to have around the house!

  • Katie looks fabulous too - looks like she skipped all the stupid plastic surgery which is PROBABLY why she still looks really good.

  • @gamersrock123

Yup. I think one reason they all look so good is that they had good families and good lives.

  • I was 13-14 when Tina Cole joined the show. I had quite a "crush", as they used to say, on "Katie".

  • Wow. Don Grady looks great for 65. Can pass for his 40's very easily.

  • Hell YEAH he does! He doesn't even SOUND any older. I'd love to know his secret.

  • @Dar70

    Absolutely!

  • @Dar70

I second that emotion! They all look pretty dang good...but ESPECIALLY good ol' Don!!

    :-)

  • @Dar70 I agree!!!

  • @kduideo Its like the fountain of youth.

  • @Dar70 The outrageous rug on his head helps a lot.

  • @ElliottsFather Its his real hair. In other interviews of him the past few years its clearly his real hair. Doesnt matter though one way or the other the guy has takne care of himself. I know people in their 30's that look older. Fat, bald and out of shape.

  • Tina cold is an absolute timeless beauty and sounds like her late mother, Yvonne King of the King Sisters. I love Tina!

  • I loved that show. Tina Cole is still wearing the same hairstyle.

  • @reneecalling

I think it might be a wig she used for nostalgia appearances. I heard somewheres past stars who do such appearances do that.

  • Aww... who didn't love My Three Sons? I wish Dodie were on this, too.

  • She starred in the pilot for The Nanny and the Professor just before she joined this show.

  • Enjoyed that one. My Three Sons was on of my favorite shows in the 60s.

  • i also like the mid 60s thru early 70s episodes of MTS(the color episodes) the best.

  • dang..don grady looks very good for his age..i think the reason why tim considine is "forgotten" is because he left on not so good terms(he wanted to race cars) and and don was on the show, out of the two the longest.

  • Don Grady still looks the same.

  • His lack of a sex life and avoiding hard rock music has preserved him...lol

  • I always watched this show when I was younger. Now I watch again on FamilyNet.

They have not changed that much at all. I never knew this was out. Thanks for posting.

  • I watched this show in reruns as a kid, and I recently started watching it nightly on Family Net. I love Robbie and Katie!

  • Its funny the one the clip of the show with Bub and chip Dancing I just watch it last night last night and to find this clip today!!!! Wow was a great show need to show shows like this and get rid of the Reality shows!!

  • It is great to see them again.....They look really good.

  • I so loved My Three Sons but why does everyone forget about the first real elder son Mike Douglas played by Tim Considine, he was in the first 6 or 7 seasons, then he married and left the show, Thats when Robbie became the eldest son.
