Cape Breton is not a very crowded place at all. It is a destination for people who want to get away. You will bump into people, but you are often glad that you did. Baxter is a big guy yes. This is EXACTLY the kind of terrain I hunger for. Ocean, grey sky, luscious green veg ... The first call of gull hooked me to watch the rest. I could smell the sea. Do they allow camping nearby? How crowded is it? I wish I were there ... I bet there was no mosquitoes. Your dog is massive.
