  • HERE WE GO..ANOTHER SILLY LOVE SONG or is it....

  • wonderful! MERAVIGLIOSO...

  • Oh dear children don't argue, there's room for both and so much more,, depending on my mood determines what I listen to. John, Paul or George or Metallica, Maiden, Chopin, Bach, Neil Young, Annie Lennox we are a wash with beauty and talent in music.... only you can limit you.

  • Certainly, Lennon had a lot of intellectual stuff, deep thoughts and political protests in his music. But McCartney...He is just a genius of amazing and wonderful melodies. So, who cares about John's songs, listening to songs of Paul?

  • I Love Paul and Hate John. Sorry Lennon, these songs are so much better than your Yoko garbage..

  • when i first heard this i though it was steely dan! damn what a voice!

  • I need2 know BeCAUSE here I GO LOVE the BaSS in this song, it's Sooo stylish

  • Cuz here I GO AGain, I do LUV U, Go BASS Guitar

Nice Orchestra backup 2 and BRASS 2

  • Linda always loves Paul..... Incondicional.... She loves You!!! Yeah Yeah...

  • I listen to this song every day. everytime i hear it i sing my little butt off and dance around like a maniac. my neighbours probably hate it by now, but I really don't care. best song ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • MY FAVORITE..I LOVE IT.CD

  • Man, I'd give my nut sack to have a haircut like that!

  • amazing song with a great lyrically talented musician

  • The band the Beatles could have been.

  • I'm so glad that Paul has been so prolific over the years, he like "sing thleave a great legacy in may ways. The more an artist works the better they get, in recent times a song like 'Sing the changes" is pure magic ... the other 3 were quite lazy... George could have done more thats for sure

  • I always said I'd pay $1,000 a ticket and go anywhere in the world to see the Beatles perform. I did see Ringo with the All Stars, John (rip) with Yoko, and Paul with Wings.

The 1976 McCartney and Wings concert in the Seattle Kingdome was unforgetable. The 1972 KROQ Hot Rocks (Rolling Stones, Sly and the Family Stone, 20 others) concert with John and Yoko was wonderful. The Ringo Starr and the All Stars concert was by invitaion only, personal, and very cool .

..and I think of George often.

  • Just <3 Sir Paul!!!

  • I'll never get enough of Paul's "silly" love songs! <3

  • Lennon was a good writer...the only problem is that he got political and that's put people off....not to mention he was at times a deouche-bag liking ruining Hef's Maltese by putting his cigarette out on it...

  • @gbonkers666 he suffered laziness or depression or maybe both, got to admire McCartney for keeping at it

  • The tune is so relaxing but it wants you to get on your feet as well... That's the beauty of 70's music; it elicits the widest range of deeds and you can't help doing them.

  • Log on every day for the rest of your life and make this the best song ever! I am making it my home page.

  • This song got me through the 70's. Thank you Paul, Linda, and the Wings.

  • Just listen to the lovely bass play. Paul is still a genious bass guitar player.

  • im not loved by anyone...................

  • @serpent480 Your family loves you.

  • All you fools that believe that Paul was a better song writer than John should consider this. If you ask Paul himself who was better even he admits, and I quote, "no one was quite as good a collaborator as John was". But that's O.k. fools-there's no shame in being second best!

  • @BoneyFTW listen to "My Valentine" and shut the fuck up

  • 8 people are not loved by anyone :)

  • Not all songs McCartney wrote were pop songs. He did some hard rockers with The Beatles like Birthday, Helter Skelter, I've Got A Feeling, Back In The USSR, and a few from the Abbey Road Medley.

  • no cabe duda hasta solo pudo

  • Stop saying that paul write only pop songs and John songs with meaning.Yes they are both great but Paul wrote from classical music to rock.Paul could write what he wanted to,have you people heard riding to vanity fair, the long and winding road is an inner song too.Paul wrote everything not only sweet little pop songs. Also silly love songs has not silly lyrics at all, this song has something to say.Coming up is one of the songs that have perfect lyrics!Open your ears

  • Ahora si cerrando este bloque tu Dios Paul Mccartney ( alias tu papa je je) pos con esta delicia de rola seeeee... te dedico todas la tontas canciones del mundo nena.

  • Some people wanna fill the world with silly love songs.

    And what's wrong with that?

    ♥♥♥♥

  • that are beatles !!!!!!!

  • dont say R.I.P Legends dont die...

  • And then there was only one. R.I.P. Lennon,Paul, and George.

  • Is it so wrong that I have So many songs that remind me of so many different Women? This one is Melony Ang? Still love her!!!

  • Calling Paul McCartney the best is a complete understatement.

  • You don't "know" as much as you think you do and I'm probably older than you. I based my remark on the QUALITY of Lennon's MUSIC and not his Politics. Sure, Lennon contributed to the success of the Beatles, but as a solo artist, (IMHO) I found him wanting. So "mediocre" is an apt description. It appears though that you let YOUR politics rule your decisions on everything you do and are UNABLE to rise above the influence of others to make UNBIASED opinions. You should go to work for MSNBC.

  • @OneAngryRepublican I agree.

  • @Berserkedy Thanks B. ! ;-)

  • Lennon was mediocre at best. Paul, George and even Ringo were way more talented than he was. You hear it in their music even after they went solo.

  • @OneAngryRepublican - Are you basing your opinion that Lennon was "mediocre at best" on his music, or the fact that he was on the far left and you're an "angry republican?" No need to reply, I already know the answer. Either you're as insane as Mark David Chapman, or you're young and don't know what you're taking about. "Mediocre at best.." Give me a break....

  • What's wrong with that? Absolutely nothing. This song makes a connection to where many people are. It touches my heart. It's the love between Paul and the lovely Linda. They seemed so happy. Such friends and lovers.

  • That huge tire is still by the side of I-94 near Greenfield, Michigan, by Metro Airport but sports a different name. Paul's music will go on for ages, just as John's does. No doubt that once the final two are gone from the Beatles, a recent discovery of a 'lost' album will come about.... Meanwhile, to Ringo and Paul, rock on, LIVE!

  • Epic bass! (Rickenbacker 4001S, best sound he got)

  • @MissUnderstoodOne what do you mean by that? You went back to the hotel 16 times?

  • Increible, ahora Paul esta en Argentina dando recitales, despues de tantos años,admiro la pasion que le pone a lo que el hace, es un genio

  • LOVE PAUL <3

  • 4:21☆☆☆☆☆

  • In all Paul wrote 14 of their 27 #1s. John wrote 7. They wrote 5 of them together. And George wrote the other one. By using this criteria Paul dominates.

¿Viva John y viva Paul!!!!!

  • Loathe his politics with a passion. Like some of his music. Yes indeed he is a talented musician. Glad he and Linda stayed married to the end that ROCKS.

  • im lookn 4 ardijahs version ! cant find it :(

  • Cheesey = yes

    But I like this because:

    a) it makes me smile.

    b) The bass is epic.

  • paul wrote for the smile and the heart john wrote for the mind and soul. the twp together wrote for a 100 generations. MDC recently came up parole thank god they left him to rot

  • This is Pop/Rock Composer Robert Nix-Thumbs up if you agree PAUL MCCARTNEY'S SOLO CAREER HAS BEEN FILLED WITH BRILLIANT SONGS SUCH AS THIS ONE "SILLY LOVE SONGS"

  • I kinda disagree; lennon may have had the words, but paul kicked him musically. I love both of em, but I kinda get sick of listening to lennon songs....I personally think "Imagine" was a brief moment of inspiration for John...

  • @Stahlgewittr Hard call,i love 3 of them that means Harrison..All great in their own ways, peaceout

  • @Stahlgewittr "Woman" was one of the b est loves songs of the early 1980's. I think it just took John a bit longer to get there, he was too busy trying to save the world.

  • @Stahlgewittr Paul is not only easily the best and most talented Beatle, but the best song writer ever.

  • @Stahlgewittr Mother is also one of the greatest

  • @Stahlgewittr To me Paul was pop and John wasn't. It's that simple. If you want to feel good with very well writen "light" tunes, than Pauls the man. If however you want some depth and more emotion you turn to John. Who would you rather have hung out with? To me it's easy...John.

  • I love this song it is deffenitly one of my favorites! =]

  • Paul McCartney, I love your Silly Love Songs.

  • Thank you for posting this lovely video.

    Best regards, Edith

  • Banana gun in the beggining XD

  • Love it. Can't get enough of the bass. ^_^

  • this song will always remind me of my high school years, great album.

  • Beautiful song!

  • Quelle classe comme d'habitude.

    Intemporel et inoubliable

  • Some great footage put together to a great song.

  • Nice information, by the way. Were you born in 1994, or is it a random number in your username?

  • I like all The Beatles: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr, but Paul is definetely my favorite!

  • ... so not George Harrison then?

  • same here :D

  • Oops. George Harrison, as well. I swear I put that. Haha.

  • Pissed off at Yoko?

  • @jason3586 What are you talking about?

  • The geezer at 4:13 is my cousin

  • seriosly gotta have my george!

  • I remember these days as a made in '73 person... I'd like to know...

  • Love doesn't come in a minute, sometimes it doesn't come at all, I only know that when I'm in it, It isn't silly, no it isn't silly at all....."So well said it hurts!!!!"

  • Thanks for posting info about this song. I consider myself one of those people who wanna fill the world with silly love songs. Go Paul!

  • Well him too. But I'm talking about the 2 people that Paul was very close too. Don't get me wrong, I have no doubt that he was close to George, but John was his best friend (and best co-writer) and Linda was his best love. :D

  • @Dirschbag

i'm pretty sure they were all best friends

  • Ooh, if I could bring back Linda McCartney or John Lennon, I don't know which one I would! Anybody?

  • If you could just do a little of each...... you could have John McCartney, or Linda Lennon. LOL

  • @Dirschbag John, Durr

  • @Dirschbag Argh! John has the wonderful music but Linda inspired Paul to make epic music. I might have to say Linda... No, John. I can't decide. :/

  • @beatriceismee11 I know! It's a hard thing to think about! How about both, eh? :D

  • great opening bassline

  • Paul is the best in all music history

  • paul the hero!!!!

  • Guatemala 1976...I loooove you!

  • I really love the horn section in this song... anyone else?

  • i love beatles dude

  • Listening to this really puts to mind that less is more in music...McCartney's music doesn't have to have a screaming guitar or lyrics that test the vocal range...His music is strait forward and enjoyable... I was in my late teens when this came out and although I thought it was weak cause it didn't rock hard...I liked it none the less...I only hope that some of today's artists take heed of the style and start making music a majority of people can enjoy, rather than the teens.

  • i have some old family hol pics of me wearing clothes that wouldn't look amiss in this vid, scarey!

  • I love Paul McCartney. Yea, maybe I'd marry him...as long as he'd sing to me...ALL THE TIME.

  • Love this song,It reminds me of my youth growing up in the 70's! Paul's the best

  • ありがとう^^ Silly Love Songs!!

    大好きだったな~~ この楽曲!

    思い出が たくさんつもって・・・・・・・

  • I've always liked this song-- "Silly-ass Love Songs."

  • this is a bass line !!!!

  • esta le gustaba a mi amor 1985

  • my fav 3 songs of paul mccartney/wings are

1:listen to what the man said

    2: silly love song

3:band on the run (best transition)

  • the best video ever

  • top tune !

  • i think the beetles would have been a cover band had it not been for mccartney. lennon was brilliant but mccartney was a genius.

  • George Harrison all the way, back bone for all the classic tunes

  • you are wrong

  • You can't compare "Imagine" and "Silly Love Songs", let alone McCartney and Lennon. Lennon has mostly written personal songs - "Julia", "Jealous Guy", with some pop songs mixed in. McCartney writes mostly pop songs - "Band on the Run", "All My Loving", with some personal songs mixed in - "My Love", "Maybe I'm Amazed." A more suitable comparison for "Imagine" would be a political McCartney song - "Give Ireland Back to the Irish" or "Freedom." "Imagine" beats "Freedom", but I really like "Ireland"

  • I know, I friggin hate when people compare McCartney and Lennon. They both have indescribably amazing songs, 'Julia', 'Number Nine Dream',& 'Imagine' by Lennon are beautiful songs, but McCartney has 'Maybe I'm Amazed', 'Warm and Beautiful' and 'No more lonely nights', all amazing songs. Lennon and McCartney are two men that changed music forever. They colaborated for years, and learned from each other, therefore produced phenomenal music.

  • not only that, but they both have pretty different style, as you can find out even in the late Beatles' songs, so it is hard to compare two people with different styles, in my opinion anyway :)

  • @thebeatles94 Hey Jude, Fool on the Hill, Eleanor Rigby, etc. They were both great songwriters, collaborated early on and learned from each other. You can't have John Lennon without Paul McCartney, and vice versa.

  • @thebeatles94 When i hear this song I always wonder how MUCH BETTER it would have sound with George and John doing Harmonies in the Back Ground.

  • @senzine John wasn't happy with the society and Paul apparently was, well I wouldn't say that he was happy with it, but he didn't had much trouble with it. So why write political songs then? Paul wrote great songs like: Eleanor Rigby and Across the universe. John wrote great songs too! Paul and John together are both geniuses, but seperated they are still two different men with a different ideology, character and vision.

  • @senzine I love both solo careers, John had alot more ballads, and personal songs, but paul also had ballads, but alot more pop songs....But Ringo had the most hits out of all beatle solo careers....suprising

  • @RNH31214 No, Ringo did not have the most hits. He had the most chart success in the first couple of years after the Beatles broke up. Longerterm, all of the other 3 had more chart sucess.

  • @RNH31214 just to put it in perspective.. mccartney had more #1 songs then ringo had top 10's.. lol.

  • @senzine As a devout Lennon fan, I can say that Lennon has silly love songs too. It's okay that they got sick of each other and talked shit about one another. Lennon's style is just more preferable to me, but damn, both of these guys are amazing. No need to compare.

  • great song

  • I love him more than any of you.

  • Theses guys are the greatest! They're music is so smooth!

  • The hot summer of 76

  • great song i love it !!

does somebody know why paul mccartney is so awesome?

  • Thats easy, hes a beatle!!!!

  • Much better than " Imagine" as song of LOVE.

Hey John&Yoko, Love must be naturally smooth.

  • Oh, YEAH, it's MUCH better to sing a fluffy, Neil Sedaka piece of saccharine than to make a call for peace between nations.

  • Your attitude is not peaceful.

Is it because by John & Yoko?

  • Disco at it's finest!! Great song!!!!

  • Not really disco. More pop. It's disco-like, but it remains pop because of some of the subtleties of the bass line and piano arrangements, they're not quite disco.

  • I love how in the information of this video whoever posted it felt the need to explain who John Lennon, fellow Beatles member, is. As if anyone looking at a Paul McCartney video would need to have that clarified.

  • hahaha. Youd be surprised how many people (young ones) don't know Paul was a Beatle, let alone, know who Lennon was.

  • Yeah, the current popular culture the world over is a sad state of affairs.

  • i was 11 or so before I knew Paul was a Beatle

  • huge beatles fan, huge paul mccartney fan, saw paul mccartney twice live... have every single beatles song in my iTunes library... however, never really got into this song

  • Such a sweet song!

  • Putting everything else aside, this man is just a BRILLIANT composer and musician>No doubt!!From a musicians perspective, his ear for chords and arrangement is FANTASTIC!!

  • Comment removed

  • the slly love song`s are better than you can imagine... always

  • been a fan my whole life-am an amatuer musician-finally going to see him at fenway on aug 6th-I'M 42 -can't wait!!!!!!!

  • This came out when I was 5. I sang this to my daughter all the time...she's now 8. what a classic!!!!!

  • his hair is perfect

  • Oh look what we have here. Einstein in a straight jacket. What happened, mommy cut off your allowance?

  • Fail

  • BEST PART AT 2:15 AND BEYOND

  • bass line hits so hard in this song.

    Paul is the man.

  • that's a cute one

  • I Really Love this song Very Much! 5*s Thank You

  • His name is Ringo?? Then he is awesome with the guitar and drums right? I also like the song called, Start Me Up.

  • This guy look very similar to one of those beatles, even his voice sounds almost identicall. It`s just amazing!!!

  • Gok think he Ringo, him Ringo. "betobatres" misspell "identical". Not hard word. Please never correct Gok's grammar.

  • Beatles were incredibly overrated...and Wings was incredibly underrated.

  • lol @ "beatles were incredibly overrated"

    wait, one more time... LOL

  • This a Great SONG. The bass and the harmonies are fantastic. I,however would not classify this as "disco" It is a Pop song something that mccartney Had been writing all along. "Miss you" and "Hot Stuff" are closer to leading the pack of followers rather than the other way around. Rod Stewart does'nt even count. Lame attempt. At least Miss you was deeply routed in the blues and a great song . So is Hot Stuff. Not afraid to take a chance but still bluesy.

  • I love this song but as a beatles fan I would have to say that overall john is a better songwriter than paul

  • 2.44 Stretch Limo....1976.....lol Police car...75 Ford LTD

  • 0:05 that dude looked like a vampire

  • soooo amazing. this song is SOOO good.

  • Great song, Great Band, I love both Lennon and McCartney, but as far as musicans Paul blows John away. John never could write music this dynamic, he as all lyrics.

  • Oh, YES! After all, lyrics like "Imagine there's no countries/it isn't hard to do/nothing to kill or die for/and no religion too" is SO not comparable to that blazing example of McCartney lyrical genius, "Someone's knocking on the door/Somebody's ringing the bell/Do me a favor/Open the door/and let 'em in." What a talent!

  • It's a bit unfair that you picked possibly Lennon's best lyrics and some of Paul's less "inspiring".

  • A time when we had REAL music!!!!!!!

  • I like how this song is a great love song, but it's fast. Not that there's nothing wrong with dat.

  • strange begining to a paul mccartney song but still wonderful!

  • Hi there, boceanf, i absolutely agree with your thoughts! but i think these two guys are the best. thats what makes the beatles so good because the combination of both their talents. but in this case i think paul really did make a blow to john...lol

  • Try "How do you sleep?" by John Lennon...I think that must have hurt.

  • ya, i think john went out of his way to hurt paul in that song, too bad, i would have hoped he was better than that, not that Paul may have deserved some criticism, he has a massive ego, but to go at it like school children is disappointing
