Kellogg's was the sponsor of "QUICK DRAW McGRAW" during its original syndicated run (1959-'66); at that time, they also had a pet food division. Naturally, they accomodated their sponsor by having "Snuffles" going wild over "dog biscuits" [especially if the "Gro-Pup" name was on the box- without the Kellogg's logo, since those cartoons were repeated without their sponsorship in later years]. I've yet to see Snuffles in a "Gro-Pup Dog Biscuit" ad...

Wow....Gro-Pup really existed! The name appears on some of he biscuit boxes on the later Quick Draw cartoons when Snuffles appears!
