There's a lot in the Philippines like her. I hope they'll get a chance to prove their worth too. Hollywood, is now start noticing the caliber of the Filipino talents. Those complicated live stadium events are 'lip-synched.' #1 - It makes for an error-free performance. #2 - Sometimes there is wind up there or the mikes could go dead. #3 - The performer in those OPEN arenas sometimes cannot see the conductor or hear the orchestra very well. Believe me, I know. I have worked in 2 of the Olympic Ceremonies.

Yup the song was pre-recorded. it's the last track of the doha asian games soundtrack. gary v. sang the asian game's theme song entitled "side by side" but was recorded only for the purpose of promotion. It was released though on a one-track cd and came as a bonus disc with the asian games DVD.

Of all the Filipino singers, she's the most admired around the world. She might not be the best, yet, she always carries herself with grace pomp and style. Sharon, Regine, Pops, etc. they've yet to prove themselves with the top impressarios, most notably from Broadway.

Of all the Filipino singers, she's the most admired around the world. She might not be the best, yet, she always carries herself with grace pomp and style. Sharon, Regine, Pops, etc. they've yet to prove themselves with the top impressarios, most notably from Broadway.

i'm sorry, a friend of mine told me that regine wasn't chosen because of her accent.. it was a private auditon, as in mga producer and directors lang ang nandun... and she wans't chose, pnalabas lang na humindi siya sa offer because she can't wear skimpy bikinis on stage in front of thousnads. but it was really her accent and lack of theater experience. my friend's aunt was my source, she was within the miss saigon circle.
