  • ur so posh

  • I have a question for you guys and i'd appreciate it if you'd reply. Im 13 and im from America. Why does it seem that almost all countries (including the UK) think Americans sound like theyre all from Texas?

  • @limacharlie6 Just like here in the UK and the strange sounding accent in the rural areas, like Yorkshire.

Its the strange sounding particular accent of the "rural" states of the US. So not just Texas, but also Kentucky, Oklahoma, Montana, all the states in the middle of the US, that seem to be more rural and country-oriented.

  • English people dont say these words! And anyway the people who probably say it is the damn southeners

  • The one on the left is not english, shes just not no english people talk like that

  • @imoqen same here!

  • We dont say any of these is salford . ( Greater manchester if you dont know where it is )

  • i meant to pay to do your bisness in the toilet

  • spin the penny was when puplic toilets came out and you needed a penny to you-know-what

  • no on in england says fuck off like that !!

  • 69 dislikes.. wow im immature

  • I am English and I thought "off your trolley" meant you were drunk...

  • @SuperZippyZappy It can mean quite a few things mate, we tend to do that with alot of words/phrases

  • @SuperZippyZappy

have to admit i always used it in reference to someone being nuts.

never heard it used in place for pissed up.

But then up north, going for a waz means jimmy riddle, down south it

means a knuckle shuffle... so i guess it depends where you are maybe ?

  • @SuperZippyZappy No. Here in the UK, "Trolleyed" definitely means drunk. "Off your trolley" means mad.

  • You can tell by their teeth that they're not from England.

  • @AbbeyNO FUCK U! NOT ALL BRITISH HAVE TEA AND SCONES AND HAVE CROOKED TEETH ! AND NO IM NOT BEST FRIENDS WITH THE FREKKING QUEEN !

  • @AbbeyNO

You've put urine in your donkey ... thats a bit nasty of you.

  • @Spookychris01 It's accepted where i'm from. And the donkeys seem to enjoy it

  • ok just a tip..nobody speaks like that in england? "off your trolley"? what da fook?! my nan's nan's nan's nan's nan probably used that. plus your accents are shit. you need to learn to speak proper english, your "attempting" to impersonate the southern accent. mateeeee come up north and you'll literally get twatted if you spoke a word of that shit

  • Also, I don't know if this is a joke, because I've never heard any of these phrases used in London.

  • See if people like you are teaching Americans how to have a 'british' accent, they're never going to get it right.

  • what the fuck

  • @missmarta010 I mean what the bike

  • @missmarta010, now that was funny :)

  • zont.. yeah we say that..

  • wtf ur not even british how would u know

  • You guys are delusional. Talk in your 'real' accent please

  • Its funny you wouldn't have your accent with out our CONVICTS.

  • u cum near us saying that and ur gonna be murderd

  • Oh and we don't really say cheeseburgers, it's just burgers.

  • Useless knob means exactly what it is you wankers.

  • I thought "off your trolley" meant you were really really drunk too, kinda like "off your face" and all that :S Maybe it's just the area I live in

  • I knew all of the answers (cus I'm English) but I've never said anything like that. Probs cos I am from London but now live in Geordie land (Newcastle) I get a lot of stick up here anywas cos of my posh accent.

  • Dear Americans on my computer screens,

Bizzie, Maccy D's, Git, Bifter, Twonk, Manc, Mosher, Hozzie, Lad, Buttons, Nicker, Clobber, Boss, Mint, Sound, La, Ked. These words are what I call "slang". The words you're using, are ones that Mary Poppins uses when she's feeling a bit common. If you want to hear real slang search for the "A Bowl Of Scouse" video.

    Yours sincerley,

    An angry Scouser.

  • They are giving the wrong meanings how stupid !

  • I am pretty sure we don't use these slang terms in London or the whole of the UK.

  • air heads

  • It's all about the Essex accents

  • Worst attempt ever.

  • Most southern people..

    Are posh twats,

    Long live the North!

  • @atkinsm0607 here here!

  • they sound Australian.

  • These aren't english. They're posh twats.

  • fck them that is not where people speak in essex

  • @TheWanted123456 or in stoke-on-trent

  • I think they could be British born, but I believe I detect a slight Aus/NZ kinda twang there, if British born then they have probably been living somewhere down in the Antipodes for a good few years.

  • Fake accents. And nobody actually uses these phrases.

  • wow speak like that in the north where i am PFFT u wont last a week

  • Unlike you two I actually AM English...and it's cute you are so interested in the "British" accent (no such thing)...in fact you've even created your own as nobody North, South or in the Midlands speaks like that or pronounces things like that! But anyway...go ANYWHERE in England with those accents and you'll get your head kicked in :-D

  • @iLOVEJEFFandJOHN

What a load of rubbish! Completely wrong in every way.

  • @Neilhuny "Completely wrong in every way".....what, you believe people speak like that? And you don't believe people are patriotic enough to not have people ridiculing their accent? You're the one who's wrong then :|

  • @iLOVEJEFFandJOHN Of course there is a British accent, only an ignorant fool would say otherwise. It's called received pronunciation. I've heard people speak like them, but then I don't walk around with my head up my arse like you apparently do. Nobody, except fools, would even consider suggesting people would get their heads kicked in for a little light-hearted, innocent fun on the internet. Lighten up buddy.

Oh, and I AM English, too. Fun using capitals pointlessly, isn't it?

  • @Neilhuny Pointlessly using capitals? Oh you mean to emphasize things? But yeah, it's fun.

Yeah there most definitely is an accent in England which is received pronunciation. More common in the South and Midlands. I don't know if you're aware, Mr. Big I Am, but Britain is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland...so essentially, there are many different accents...how can you have a "British accent" when the Irish sound nothing like the English for instance?

  • @Neilhuny Oh and also, stating I have my "head up my arse" (as mature as that makes you sound) because I myself use a little "light-hearted" (quoting shit is also really fun) humour makes your argument look even more invalid. Picking arguments over Youtube or the internet in general isn't exactly the greatest thing to do but picking one over something this tiny is pathetic.

  • These girls are definitely Australian or from New Zealand.... not gonna lie i can't tell the difference. But i'm from London and I can tell these are fake accents lol

  • Nobody uses those worse any more ¬_¬

Your not even English go to England and speak like this in a pub and see how many slaps you get.

    ...We say Backpack as well

  • You sound Australian?:L

  • I'm English and I have heard almost all of these expressions, although some of them are a bit old fashioned. I'm middle aged and, " spend a penny," is something my mum might say. The girl on the left is definitely American and the other girl, has quite a good English accent , but I'm guessing that she may be Australian.

  • I dub thee "Dunce" and "flubbs"

  • No one in London talks like that, only posh people from Kensington and Highgate, you frauds.

  • lol

  • If I were to tell you that I was on my bike...

IM ON MY FUCKING BIKE ?

  • Haha we don't say "oh my God this is so pear shaped!". The girl on the right has the better English accent, but neither of them are English!

  • ur accent is not british

  • maybe this is how you talk in london but if you went too the north of the uk and spoke like this you would get fucked up

  • @seanlfc7151 True! They came up north they would get their face filled in!

  • @seanlfc7151 - Thattss for sure haha... Im from the north... The difference is huge XD

  • Comment removed

  • You guys don't sound British, but then again.. What do I know? I'm just a silly American XP

  • Wait.. On your bike? WTF That means ON YOUR BIKE.

  • I don't really think you are british....... considering the left one at 2:13 spoke with a Australian accent

  • right. i'm having a few problems here. 1) neither of you are british. because you're saying 'breetish' which is not english. it's Austrailian/kiwi. 2) spend a penny means "to go for a wee" not "take a dump". if you're going to 'teach' (as you so charmingly put it) people how to speak with an english accent, using english phrases, at least bother to do your research.

  • your australian.

  • You're not British.

  • you simply have to die or i will be off my trolley

  • I don't know about other English girls, but Rayna is hot and i don't see anything wrong about her accent. it's awesome!

  • Wow!! that's such a beautiful accent!! Really don't know why so many people get upset about it!

Anyway keep it up.. i'd love to see more from u!

The British accent sounds great and make you look even sexier!

  • @ppfarj That ain't a proper Brit accent.

You wanna see proper British accent, look at the North or Scotland, not the bloody Buckingham Palace dickheads.

  • I don't know why people say that British people don't have the classic posh accent.. Most people around the area I live do. And it isn't a classically posh area.

  • thats not how you talking in a british accent! and people from richmond (rich people) only talk like that!

  • nobody speaks like this! SOMEONE DO A VIDEO ACTUALLY USING WORDS WE USE PLEASE!

  • thanks for insulting the english language

  • Voddy?????? You're fucking Australians. Fuck off.

  • No. Spend a penny is a piss. Penny = p = pee. Dickheads.

  • @theendingnote No it, comes from back in the days when, public toilets had penny slots on the cubicle doors, you'd put penny, (old penny 1D) in the slot in order to gain entry, hence the saying, "to spend a penny". Trust me, I'm an old git, I remember.

  • @KevinJKtheman Hahaha, touché. Either way, these girls aren't British.

  • You two make me so angry. This is just fucking ridiculous and stupid and borderline racist.

  • Left doesn't sound English, right does, she's just very well spoken..

  • dont get yo pantys in a twist

  • btw i actually never knew these things and i was born in britan ive never heard SOME of them

  • hey baby (on the left)

  • I'm from Liverpool which is in England...I don't say any of these things....

  • Cor that rayna birds hot

  • These fuckers are not English.
