@bcmom5 TEARS is one of the most accurate portrayals of a modern military encounter to be found on film, even as it is a piece of fiction. There are only 2 errors that are worth mentioning, and 1 is a simple dialog error. Cirillo & Lasker have written a masterpiece. Direction, cast & crew gave it a brilliant life.

damn, all this prejudice against a beautiful woman. monica bellucci is a good actress. check out her chops in l'appartement or irreversible or remember me, my love. brilliant performances. the problem is too often directors don't offer her the good roles in lieu of offering her eye candy roles, which unfortunately she takes from time to time. her work in french and italian cinema, however, speaks for her.

The film is well made, but did anyone else notice those absurd changes of style. From one cut to another or even in the middle of otherwise fluent shot it's like they switch to a completely different style of grading, change filmstock or use some odd filter. It must be intentional but on my tv it looks like a really imbarrassing mistake.
