  • Stumbled on this by accident.. very cute. Though my kids were public schooled and enlisted in the Air Force, a home-schooling mom's son barely passed the ASVAB. (Mine scored in the upper 90s). The recruiter also said that the home-schooled kids don't fare well in basic as they are not accustomed to a strict, structured day, or working as a team. Don't know about that, but my friend's son didn't last in the Marines.

  • @Florisotanc54 - This isn't aimed at ability - it is aimed at the Vision Forum branch of homeschooling that glorifies the military, and yet many of them (not all - I know) forbid their sons from serving when they want to enlist.

  • We are a military home schooling family. I home school my children and my husband is in the US Army. I would be proud to have my children enlist. Not all home schooling families are super religious and against war and against the military as a career.

  • @HooahHomeSchooler - Thanks for the comment. Not all homeschooling families are crazy like this. That's why the title says "some." My only complaint is the families that glorify the military (usually the South in the Civil war and WWII), and then go bonkers when the kids want to enlist... Not cool, IMO.

  • Ah, the contradictions and hypocrisy of those patriarchal cults -- er, groups -- you clearly see the problems. Thanks for this video.

  • @joyousdog1 - lets call them cult-like groups!
