If I buy any more games in the next couple of years they're all going to be NES and Game Boy games. Maybe some SNES and Megadrive (aka Genesis) but everything else seems to be an interactive cutscene with HD graphics. Literally, in the case of Heavy Rain.

Developers; gamers had reason to ignore the laserdisc Dragon Lair game in the 80s, the one that looked like a cartoon in contrast to the pixels of competing games. That shit is not a game. And you aren't good storytellers. Actual games please!

this is kinda sad. in japanese eduation system, they are aware that kids love challenges and competition. i attended in japanese school and its like a tournament. we have boards posted on the wall showing the grades and ranks them for all of us to see. we worked hard there but it was life for us so it we didnt think it like work. here in the states all they care about are kids feeling. smuthering them with grade A for an effort attitude.
