This was a moving rendition to one of the most moving ballads of the 1980s. I don't recall how many thousands of times I listened to Hysteria when I was a kid in the late 80s. And I am not sure I will be able to count the thousands of times I am going to listen to your superb cover of this song. Def Leppard, and the late great Steve Clark, would be proud.

Oh my gosh, this brought tears to my eyes. I'm not usually one for acoustic remakes of already great songs, but this unearths a totally different facet of the song that you just can't find on the Def Leppard track. I am absolutely in love with this cover. <3

Fantastic! I have always wanted to use this song in some capacity at my wedding. This accoustic version would make for a wonderful addition.

Absolutely beautiful, I've always felt this song would be a breathtaking instrumental. You can almost hear the violins soar and the cellos hum with those stunning intertwining melodies weaving throughout each other. Your cover brings them out to the front, where they belong.

The only criticism I would have on your very impressive cover, would be to leave out 3:19- 3:30. It simply doesn't work for an acoustic string version.

Thanks, that was exactly what I was going for! I spent ages trying to get the texture right, fortunately for me the guitar I use has an fantastic tone which makes it all so much easier.

I agree with you 100% on that small section, don't you think it also saps the atmosphere out of the song? Hopefully in the next couple of days I'll go back and edit it out.
