@4freespeech AMEN! Our nation was a BLESSED nation when our churches sang and worshipped God like this! Now we have degenerated into a hip hop culture of thugs and devils because the church has stooped to the worship of demons through their CCM and Rock Concerts! Now we are on the slippery slope towards HELL and JUDGMENT!
@CharismaticBuster Why would you say something like that. This song at one time was contemporary and I highly doubt that Charles B. Wycuff, the writer of this great song was inspired of demons.
Sounds to me very much like the Church of God choir in Newark Ohio. We have a number of their records and this song is on one of them. Perhaps at some time, I can get a few of those favorites on You Tube, if anyone is interested.
@ddsmann I'm definately interested! I wish folks would get their old recordings out and digitize them and share them with us! I want my children to hear and see what the old fashioned saints had! Maybe it will give them a hunger to get the same thing for themselves! Glory to God!
I remember when I was a boy hearing the senior citizen choir of the Princeton Pike Church of God in Ohio sing at the Illinois Campmeeting. That was the first time I ever witnessed a state overseer run the ilse.
What a gem of a post, are you able to share any more information on it, artist etc. I wish we had a radio station here in the UK that broadcast good solid gospel music. Would it be possible to receive the station here ie by internet radio?
I think the radio announcer told me this was recorded by a church choir in or around Spartanburg, SC. This radio station (I'm sad to report) was bought out and changed to spanish music.
The church has their own website. If you click on "music", you can hear this and many other of their songs. landisbaptist

You used to hear singing like this in churches all across America before they
went Hollywood contemporary and subsequently fell asleep. Now our nation
has been hijacked by the hounds of hell and if the slumbering church doesn't
WAKE UP we're DONE FOR!

Whoever thought to replace this wonderful music in the church for CCM was inspired of demons. This is wonderful.
