In fact, we export some of the best on the East Coast. Every year around this time, the local news carries a story of a large "pot bust". Isn't this harvest time? Yep, 10-15 people head of to prison every year at the end of August. We're used to it now.

The DEA do not respect State law because it has no teeth. if the local enforcers start standing up to them and enforcing the State laws, then the DEA would start respecting State law and authority.
The sticking point to that is where the federal law is not in constitutional violation. If something is federally illegal, no state can trump that decision unless their view is that the federal law is unconstitutional.. and even then they have to challenge it.
Simply put, if marijuana is federally illegal.. that's what it is. If they are going to legalize it..and the feds accept that.. then it's legal. These places understand they operate on the cusp of the law.
If these businesses pay their taxes, especially if they pay their taxes, then the local enforcers should arrest these DEA assholes for violating state law, lock them up in the county jail, try them in local courts and incarcerate them in the State Prison.
What I do not understand is why these local enforcers keep on sucking up to the DEA? If State law trumps Federal law and not the other way around as the DEA claims, and as stated in the 10th amendment of the constitution, then why don't the local enforcers do their job and enforce State law?

The sticking point to that is where the federal law is not in constitutional violation. If something is federally illegal, no state can trump that decision unless their view is that the federal law is unconstitutional.. and even then they have to challenge it.
Simply put, if marijuana is federally illegal.. that's what it is. If they are going to legalize it..and the feds accept that.. then it's legal. These places understand they operate on the cusp of the law.

@daddytangee WRONG! My kids never had a clue about drugs and are all in college doing well. I have done coke almost EVERY single day for at least 20 years. Everything in moderation. It is the losers that have no self control that get all strung out. I go to work, do my thing, come home and do a big line, make a drink, smoke a fatty, do another line, party for a few, go to bed, and DO IT ALL OVER THE NEXT DAY!
