Scotty obviously took Billy Bush's advice about singing the national anthem by backing away from the mike at the lyrics 'Ooooo' until he reached the lyrics 'say'. He admitted in the interview that he does get a 'bit flustered' especially when the interviewer played him recordings of world renown artists of messing up the words of the national anthem.
