  • As a student of Educational Linguistics, I think these politicians are taking an EXTREMELY simplified approach to a very complicated issue. Mitt Romney really needs to me more informed on how home language vis-a-vis the home language can affect the results of a child's education. He is really missing some key points.

  • We all MUST speak the language of whatever country we live in.If only for safety reasons.Nothing worse than having someone live here for 20 plus years and can not speak English.

  • Does Germany, France or any other country not speak and ask those that want to be German or French citizens to speak one language. This is not a federal issue but because our government wants to control the masses it will be a federal issue until "We the People" get off our collective "A's" and get involved.
