Wow. Remember that game from pre-school where you had to slide various shaped blocks into corresponding holes in the lid of a bucket? This is a minute long video about basic fundamentals of a toy designed for 4 year olds.
@DanRedSox all of these how to instruction videos are too short. it should be shown & explained in greater detail. most important it should state the proper voltage of the player unit. also it should be shown in a quiet place. ill try to do mine but i'm going to go slow.
All this stupid videos are just showing how to unplug the old and plug the new one. even a caveman can do that, show me how to know (test /check) wich cable is what if the stereo was stolen and there is not connector/harnnes just a bunch of cuted off cables . That would be useful.
well the first thing you do is you rip out the head unit as fast as possible give it a good yank rip the wires out the back to provide less time spent trying to get going then after removing the wires run fast as fuk untill you are in some good cover like a bush or under a tree water like a swiming pool will also work by covering up your smell and cooling you off so your not seen with nite vision but be careful not to wet your new hot head unit most are not water proof hope this info wasa help
I like the way he pushes the EQ in against the pressure of the wires forcing it out.Also why has he not mounted the cage and used the locking tabs to hold the cage in, then inserted the radio into the fixed cage,one bump in the road and that lots going to bounce out into the coin tray or your crotch.
Note the back bracket and arm to support the rear of the radio has not been fitted either,this usually runs on a small track in the top of the aperture,a plastic clip is held by the bolt and a nut on the back of the unit,you can see the studing for it on the back of this radio he's fitting,its vital as it stops the radio dropping down in the back of the dash and holds the unit level and secure,VITAL in a CD player instal.

I installed a radio, speakers, and new speaker wiring into our semi about a year ago. It was my first time, but it's not very difficult. Now all it needs is a nice 12" sub and amplifier below the sleeper. :)

I installed a radio, speakers, and new speaker wiring into our semi about a year ago. It was my first time, but it's not very difficult. Now all it needs is a nice 12" sub and amplifier below the sleeper. :)
