  • its just like moon scape terrain, that was the shittest stuff i ever brought, and in the white dwarf i saw it in, it said back by popular demand, so who the fuck wanted ore of these things

  • it will look better when you paint it

  • it looks like pieces of turds

  • Honestly it's not THAT flimsy. It's just flexible. I have a set myself and as long as you're not reckless with it, it'll be fine. I throw mine around, my friend puts her heavy metal Hive Tyrant on it and it's holds fine. As for the dents, you probably just got a bad mold or something which GW does got your back with.

  • i would have returned it, and made them myself with better quality

  • You should try to make a plaster cast of one, Maybe it will come out better?

  • I got mine in almost acceptable conditions, but the center of the crashed escape pod thing was so thin so when i put my just finished demon lord (which by the way took me over a week just to paint) on top of it, the shit broke under the weight and the arm of the guy fell off!

  • im totaly with you but maybe u just got unlucky i had an idea t5hat might help u could use some car body fill realy hard core stuff to put an inner layer to strengthen it

  • Im really happy there is so much public outcry on this. GW need to recall, come public with the problem and reissue these pieces. I for one will not buy a set until that happens. I have been loyal to GW for over a decade now but this is insulting.

  • i feel like buying it and turning it into something amazing from the load of crap it already is

  • Thi sure is putting me off from buying it.

  • Maybe you could use it as a mold and use whatever you use to mold and do that then paint it

  • that is balls, the buildings are fine, big number of sprues but im never getting this I break my own terrain all the time.

  • MADE IN CHINA.

  • yeah I hear ya man, the quality of this bit of terrain is bull. mine came pretty undamaged and pretty level but looking just as crappy as yours. I already wrote gw to complain. It almost looks like the first blastscape they ran stuck to the top of the mold and they kept on cranking out the rest from the underside of the first one.

  • That kinda looks like it's a mold...not a piece of terrain. You use it to MAKE pieces of terrain.

  • BTP says they like the blastscape

  • Link please? I have no idea how anyone can possibly like this stuff. It's the crappiest stuff GW has come out with in a long time. I was able to poke a hole through it with a pencil.

  • Thanks for posting this, sorry you had to be our guinea pig, 'the more you know' kinda thing...

Let us know about your refund status...

  • it almost looks as if they are molded off the inside of a proper batch.

  • I saw the skyshield pad at my local GW, it can hold a valkyrie, and it was holding to basilisks today. I was going to buy these but I got a forewarning. Thanks very much, mate.

  • Great 2nd video. Are you going to send it back or just fill it in to make it stronger?

  • That's a massive bummer, especially since they have produced some great stuff in the past.

  • WHOAAAAAAA that is so sad.. I'd send it back and try to get your money back since this is really really crap.

  • these things will be on ebay for like $.50 !

  • typical gw quality, sell super cheap crap and make low quality product for rediculously more than what its worth. cant believe its just a shitty piece of thin vacuformed plastic. the painted ones they show in the mag and online are propably painted up versions of the master. GW has been going down hill quality wise for the last 6-7 years or so imo ( horrible mold lines cheap shit plastic quality, now junk dollar store quality vacuformed terrain). Deffinately seek a refund.

  • It's a piece of terrain for 15 euros. I have to admit I expected them to look better, they're still not a waste of money at the price point. 3 euros each is okay IMO.

I'm not too thrilled about having to remove all those border edges though (weakingen it in the process). Maybe I'll get a moonscape instead.

  • The Moonscape is exactly the same 'quality', so if that is your objection to this new set then I would suggest you don't buy that one either!

  • Yea, the way I said it sounded like the moonscape was a solution. I'd buy a moonscape instead as it fits better in planetstrike (actual craters) and is easier to fit on any battlefield imo.

  • The moonscape is not the same quality. Moonscape is much stronger and thicker. So the details are not there but the multiple little dents and very thin plastic is not even close to the same moonscape quality

  • The moonscape also didn't try and do complex things with what they are vacuum forming.

My blastscape also has tons of little blobs of plastic where the vacuum sucked the plastic into the vent holes in the mold, so the laserburn piece looks like it has lots of breasts in the burn.

There is an idea, make it slaaneshi themed terrain.

  • That made me rofl.

  • well, i was going to pick one up on saturday, but jesus they are terrible and look nothing like the pics on the GW site.

    well thanks

  • the paint will come off becaus its to flexibell

  • My friend put his on harboard after filling it with plaster or something i think, he said it was like one of those desposable plastic drinking cups :( the stuff looked so good though, thanks for the review youve just saved me some money

  • Wow, and I thought that it looked SO good in the magazine. I was really hyped about it. I am so glad tha you exposed this terrain. That is HORRIBLE vacuum mold crap.

  • REFUND time imo

  • GW need to stop selling them right this instant till they get proper ones in.

  • that's sucks man, take it up with GW. we all deserve better than that crappy, flimsy excuse of terrain

  • Man, that's too bad. Just ordered the landing pad.. Hope it's not too bad.

  • hate to bum you out but i saw one of those painted at my games workshop and it looks flimsy and more like it was home made rather than professional and it was games workshops one for promotional use nothing as good as the buildings they already sell

  • Oh well...guess I'll have to deal with it...pics show it holding a vulture, but possibly more bait and switch.

  • it holds one its the pad that looks bad the legs look fine and there was a vulture on the one at my gws

  • Lets not forget the pics on the GW site are not the same thing. Most refer to them as the resin cast master not the vac formed blown plastic we get

  • bullshit

  • ????? My statement is BS???? I am referring to the blastscape not the landing pad. You can check the pics yourself and the link in the corner has clear comparison shots.

  • i would just bitch to GW about it and see what they say. it's possible you got a bad set
