I have been to over 30 WWE events and whenever a prom is shown the lights in the arena are out - I don't see why the would have done it different for this match

They were showing a promo and so the lights were down in the whole arena.

Owen fell as he was being set up for his entrance NOT during his entrance.

After the promo the lights in the arena went up and everyone would have seen him lying in the ring and with EMT's rushing there.

Fans close to ring side would have heard/maybe seen the accident but it was lights out
