@haniyaamin Iqbal was a philosopher why are you trying to mix philosophy with a particular religion? He had alot of fatwas coming through from Mullahs when he wrote 'Lenin Allah k Hazor'. I don't think Iqbal was with a particular religion. Remember these philosophers teach COWS(that are us) in our tune i.e. if you are a muslim they will write inspirational stuff to teach COWS in a way that they like to be taught, if that makes sense?

a small correction, sultan-e-jamhoor is not 'democracy' per se, it just means dominance of people or rule of the populous, which for different people could look differently and dose not have to be democracy only. Also one cannot read too much into the politics of iqbal through his poetry, because the politics within his poetry is every where. He has written praises for people ranging from Marx to european fascist dictators.

at some point he praise the supreme ruler which he called marde momin or shaheen etc and at some place he is too much diverted towards right wing and on some place he acts leftist (socialist, communist)

i dont know what his ideology really was:/

His works, namely karl marx ki awaz, lenin khuda k huzor mien and this one clearly depict him as a socialist and i'll suggest you to stop watchin zaid's bullshit, rest is up to you..

Zaid is just playing with people emotions, he said democracy is wrong etc etc and according to him Iqbal also thinks democracy as a wrong faulty system but you can heard in this poem he is praising democracy by saying aya he sultan e jamhoor ka zamana...
