This album sells for stupid amounts on eBay and I had to come and find out what all the fuss was about. The only conclusion I can come to is that people who pay hundreds of pounds for this are UTTERLY INSANE, stupid, def, very easily fooled, have more money than sense, or all of the above.

I picked up the reference to this from the special edition ''Imagine" DVD. I must say, it isn't quite as bad as I thought it might be. I never realised before that John and Yoko were putting out this wierd seperate music while the Beatles were still very much afloat, thought it came shortly afterward.

Strange indeed. The Beatles were rather good in my opinion, but John Lennon turned very weird during these later years if you ask me. His wife was kind of the same. Perhaps this song and album is meant to just be simple and relaxing, I don't know, but personally, I don't see the big meaning behind it.

All this is is the soundtrack of john and yoko's first forbidden night together. She came over when cynthia was gone and they made tapes just for fun. Kids do this kind of thing all the time. The only difference is that John and Yoko put a picture of themselves naked on it and everybody got outraged. I really just wish people didn't take it so seriously. No They aren't songs, it's music. And no, it isn't a painting or a film or a sculpture, it's just art.

For me, this album is the strangest and best one for a man from the world's best known band ever! Since I have heard it from a friend's Apple vinyl record for the first time, I have got the chills and some confusion with several experimental electronic music artists as the French Philips' experimental electronic music artist Pierre Henry and some tunes from Perry-Kingsley. So, I have also noticed the thin paper album cover with a "man and woman" brown-white design covered the hard cover sleeve!

To me this is much like Jackson Pollock it's trying to change music, and in that respect it is admirable. However the music like Pollock's work just isn't that impressive, sure the technique/purpose behind it is interesting, but that still doesn't equate to good music or art. I mean groups like Nickleback and Limp Bizkit, which are terrible, have more listen-able moments.

People always say, "All the best bands were on drugs." If you ask me, all the worst bands are on drugs too. I mean, you'd have to be seriously high as a kite to think this was worth releasing.

Still, the Turner Prize is popular, and that's like the art version of this (if you haven't heard of the Turner Prize, past winners of it include two guys who entered themselves as art, Tracey Emin's unmade bed, and a shed made from an old boat that was made from a shed).

I doubt it's the drugs. It's the fame and expectations pressing down. John kinda left town towards the end of his life and drugs probably played a part, but not exclusively. This is a respectful comment as I love everyone!
