  • Awwww cute cat :3

  • can the cats survive in Chernobyl?

  • Great videos you have!! thank you for uploading.

  • When is everybody able to go back for living around the reactor?

  • @JeanRobin20

    over 250 000 years.

Although there already people who live there now. People who get old too. It's just a way of life.

  • ou! eeee its first mutant I see! the radioactive cat mutant.... thets cat live in chernobyl? while hi is not dad alredy?

have you see the big grate pripjat fishes?

  • aw, cute kitty!

  • --' viiiive la radioactivité surtout avec le chat --'

  • ohohoooooo joli chat !!!!

  • Nice video with nice cat, I would like to see the place live, I am from Czech, I hope I find someone, who has car and who want see the place too.

  • sorry - and who wants to see, my english is bad :(

  • the cat is cute!

  • and guess what the background music is!

Scooter - How much is the fish

that's what the kitty wants to know!

  • umm ok

  • I hate burst your bubble but the amount of radiation you're detecting is rather normal. I get that much background radiation in certain places near my house. Based on the clicks I'd say you're around 0.2 µSv/hr which is completely safe.

  • I know it is normal. If you check attentively, you will see that this is just a comparison with my other video in front of the reactor.

  • Ah, my apologies then. Nice video.

  • Thats far away from the plant and city. You should had filmed it closer :)

I got pictures of the same cat ;)

There was plenty os cats outside ChernobylInterInform :D

  • Yes there were a lot of stray cats there, but this one was so funny :-D

If you want more radioactivity, check my other video in front of the plant ;)

If will try to add more or better quality videos when I got time.

If you want to see my pictures, they are at picasaweb (/chernodom)

  • @chernodom It's amazing how this cat is so friendly and healthy for being a stray cat. Any stray cats I know are not that friendly!! It looks like a well cared-for pet!

  • @chernodom Pah, activity in front of the plant is only 30-50 times background. Go digging in the red forest, or into the reactor core and lick the elephants foot (fuel/sand magma) that bad boy is 20,000 Roentgens :P

  • poor thing just want's to play :D..radioactivity can take it's pole..even on a kitty..btw i can't quite see..is the Geiger reading below 20? in prypiat? amazing

  • It was not filmed in Prypiat but in Chornobyl, which is actually around 30km from Prypiat.

  • I can hear you guys playing "How Much is The Fish" by Scooter :D

  • ahhh.. Poor thing. :/

  • Poor cat it wanna play....

  • And the best thing is, the cat glows at night.

    -Wow, that´s fantastic , Bob.

  • And the best thing is....you can still keep the cat as a reading lamp....

  • the kitten should have a health warning sticker on it. e.g. "warning: prolonged exposure to kitten may have carcinogenic side-effects, pet at own risk"

  • dont let him bite u haha. So was that cat a pet belonging to the people, or did he grow up in Pripyat?

  • nuclear kitty :D

  • nice kitty kitty :D

  • looool ca a meme rendu les chats cinglés :p trop mimi!!!
