dawn of the dead remake was good zombieland was a new twist, but ive watched the first 5 episodes of this show and holy shit it just bursts originality and is so rich and thick with storyline and plot, its definately a gem and it definately raises the bar that lost and prisonbreak set when they were around. hopefully they dont dry up too quickly because id hate to see this series meet an early grave!

To finally see Kirkman's work on AMC is something to behold. "The Walking Dead" is the best new show on television! In fact, this "tv series" is better than most of the feature films on the subject.

@shazam679 I think this is entertaining, but i agree that it isn't so special as everybody says. For me, a good series or movie have to be a new story, different from everything that i've seen. And, year after year, i've seen tons of movies that are all very similar. Resident Evil was new to me, but the movie was a little banal. Creativity is essential, for me.

im pissed they take such a long time to release issue by issue but they are amazing!

A TV series would work out since the whole concept is a never ending fight for survivor against both people and zombies. Personally, I would like it if they made it into a mini-series first since they would get a bigger budget.
