A lovely, "unmolested" CJ5 you have there, you're very fortunate. This past Nov. I bought a 1981 CJ5 on eBay. It's the fourth one I've owned. My last one was a 1978 and was almost identical to yours, V8, 3-spd, Levis (Golden Eagle) package. They're the most fun vehicle I've owned by far, but as you say, not at all practical.
@tchimmerroks Yes sir thank you. My parents actually bought my Jeep on ebay also. I've done a few things since I posted this video. I found some original Renegade wheels and cleaned them up and hopefully will get those on it soon. Hopefully I can make a new video here pretty soon of the improvements and the REBUILT 304! I sure do wish you could find these like you said "unmolested" more than what you find other than on the net.
The thing that kinds sucks about the V8 jeep is that they were only 3-spd... You can only go like 55 or you'll begin to wear down your rear differential... Still, a very cool Jeep!

I hope you have better luck with this vehicle than he did, because this is truly badass.
