This is not Windows 7 boot up...7 looks almost identical to Vista but is basically Vista improved. It's more than a SP, but not like a while new OS, it's an upgrade, and well worth it.

If you mean this is Windows 7 and the sound is from Vista, you are wrong. Microsoft DIDN'T re-write the kernel for Windows 7, which means it's more or less windows vista SP2. This IS the Windows Vista startup. Windows 7 DOESN'T have this bit. Windows 7 also has the same default sound scheme, just a lot of new sound schemes as well.

I honestly dont see how people hate vista so much. It really isnt THAT different than XP, except for the GUI. If you install SP1 and the other updates, then you shouldnt have any problems. I think alot of people piss and moan because they are so sold on XP that they dont want change.

didn't they really go to town and rip the guts out of vista with SP1 because now i find its very reliable fast etc. Only thing that crashes is firefox3 occasionally. ive never had compatibility issuse apart from some ms dos games but since then i dwnloaded do box and they wrk fine

If you have compatibility issues, run the program in compatibility mode for whatever OS it was originally made for...I have run a few Win98 and XP games on my Vista laptop and they play just fine...
