i hear ya. i remembered mixing on my turntables(JVC,TECHNICS AND MITSUBISHI)

back in the day you would stack everything on top.lol i had 2 systems. the mitsubishi system was for in the house and my other was when i dj.(their were different piceses) i had 2 dual tape decks,sanyo & pioneer.

3 EQ's mitsubishi,technics and my brother gave me his..i forgot the name but it was powerful.

2 amps mitsubishi,pioneer 2 sets of speakers.you get the picture.lol it was fun times. so go far it!

Great music from the 80s - music one can listen to and dance at the same time, LOVE Kagagoogoo and Limahl !!!. Music then started to go downhill during the 90s onwards with the exception of rave and Trance/Techno (they're amazing too). Sadly, the sweet 80s melodies slowly dissapeared, replaced by the annoying hard rock(new metal, grunge) and rap noise; that soon polluted the airwaves and bars.

Bands like Radiohead, Portugal. the Man, Those Dancing Days, Muse and many more (just to randomly name a few) still make innovative music. And yes, they do have great melodies and lyrics.

Bands play on tv all the time. Even today. I'm pretty sure people didn't find this listenable when it came out, just like some people seem to think all of today's music sucks. It's a good song, but a pretty boy singer is probably what attracted most fans to this band. Which is mostly female probably.
