What I love about this stuff is that it manages to avoid the cheese that was so

often an ingredient in early electro-pop (like Kingsley's, and even --to a lesser

extent-- Haack's), while staying clear of the inscrutable murkiness of hardcore

avant-garde musos like Subotnick and Cage. The result is a very accessible

sound, with a pulse, catchy but not sappy.
