@janborrowitz In the 60's the Shangrilas are considered the tough sluts. hair twirling, gum chewing, ripped nylons and they looked like girlie girls compared to standards of today. The cheesy courtney love/lydia lunch hooker look is deffinately a turn off. sex does sell :S This look is for sure a minority certainly materialistic, sexual and against the grain. Even murders are considered against the grain in society. Lady gaga is way worst influence on females for trashy fashion then these girls!

It vocally sounds like Bitch Alert but lets face it Civet. Bitch Alert, Brody Dalle when in Distillers, Courtney Love, L7...all kinda have that same kind of voice.

But anyway this song is pretty brilliant. And I saw them live supporting Street Dogs recently and they were alright.
