  • that back bumper looks a bit ricey imo. to put it subtly that is. DOesnt look good on any car and certainly shouldnt on a mini, but to each his own anyway

  • what sorta cam you running in this?? also what power figures are you achieving??? :)

  • why make the back look like an rx8?

  • room?

  • lol, not much.

  • I'm using a red top pump but I have been told that an upgraded mechanical fuel pump would be better. I don't know how true this is. A supercharger kit will make lots of difference to a 1275.

  • thiking about supercharging my 1275 mini, did you do much to the fueling as obviously will need more fuel im looking at a supercharger kit says nothing about fuel bit worried lol, you think it will make much difference to a 1275 ??

  • love the exhaust ; o

  • nice =D what sort of power figures you looking at??

  • WHY that stupid exhasust? WHY that stupid bumper? ruined a good mini

  • do you have to use an intercooler in the eaton E45? the bini uses one, but its dealing with another scale of power, and so eat also.

  • You don't have to use an inter-cooler but I think it would make a massive difference to the power and drive-ability as the charger does get very hot. If I had more time I'd fit one, it can be done but it's not easy squeezing anything else in the tiny engine bay.

  • A smidgeon retarded on the rapid throttle opening? Its like the ignition timing in not advancing rapidly enough? I duuno, Its years since I been in the performance biz. I think I have lost my ear.

  • well done, it was a little retarded. this was first run though, it's running pretty good now although the set-up isn't ideal. Really it needs fuel injection but can't afford to do it.

  • Whats the 0-60 time on that ? :)

  • Hi, not sure as the clutch does slip a bit and to be honest I haven't been brave enough to try it yet but it does shift :)

  • @minigeorge666 Aw haha :D :L

Ive set some cash aside for a kit for my 1275gt :D

  • what kind of super charger are you running?

  • It's the eaton E45 charger from the new mini

  • lol, good job, did you use anything special to convert it? or just bolt it on there??

  • No, the charger is standard. obviously you need the manifold to make it fit, I bought mine as a kit but to be honest I'd make my own if I did it again as I ended up remaking most of the kit anyway.

  • thankyou, for the info.

  • OH MY GOD.... that sounds too good lol

  • Nice!

  • Cheers.

  • Cool, what whp is it? don't like the rear end (keep it original looking)

  • it's about 130 bhp at the moment but I'm going to have a good look at the engine next year as I don't think that is quite what it should be producing, plus the clutch is slipping. I had an original cooper for three years but wanted to go for something different this time.

  • Cool, have you thought about a different engine like a motorbike engine or something?? maybe an R1 or GSX-R, or hayabusa engine, that would be insane!! :D What sort of work have you done to make 130whp?

  • wooahh! i wanna see that running! sounds awsome!

  • it is running

    you must mean driving :p

  • asa face si o dacie cand o accelerezi cam tot sunetu asta

  • adevarat

  • loveing the engine, hating the body kit

  • nice colour.....shit brown

  • it's called PRIMER, the stuff that goes on before the colour?

  • Im guessing thats the undercoat, the light fitting etc werent there because its going to be painted.

  • Hi, I'm using the supercharger from the new mini on my a series. It is quite simple to fit but you will have to make a custom inlet manifold aswell as a few other engine mods.

  • i duno if it true if you no please message me back supercharge of the new mini fits a series block ? what i bin told thinking of putting supercharger on my austin a35 van please let me no if supercharger of new mini fits

  • oh jesus, thats sweet

  • whooaaa! exhaust gave me goose bumps! nice! We got an MG B GT it has a 5 main bearring engine and dual carbs stock so it should be fast... we have lots of work though. We were thinking of putting on a similar s/c later down the road... But nice mini.... 5 stars!

  • Thanks, really happy with it now I've sorted the bugs out. The eaton charger is ok for the more classic look but if I did it again i'd use a rotrex. you'll have to get some vids of the MG up.

  • Will do when its video worthy, but if you want to see it, i will put up a video of it now in current condition. we got it only last december well it was a christmas present from my padre lol, best gift ever lol

  • Hell what a tight fit, there isn't much room to begin with. The distinctive sound of the siamese ports.

  • tht exhaust sound freakin awesome

  • Thanks, going on the rolling road on monday for some fine tuning, I'll try and get a vid of it on the rollers.

  • sounds lie a monster awesome car

  • looks like the vxr corsa new exhaust . love it!

  • Cheers, that's where I got the idea.

  • Can't believe you are still running a servo, good work. Ive struggled to install mine with just the mastercylinder in place. Wish I have gone for a flip front! Sounds great, do you have a reduced pulley?

  • Yeah was a real squeeze, had to do away with the air intake that came with the kit to get it to miss everything, a flip front would have made it all alot easier. Still got the standard 10psi pulley, might change later though

  • Cheers. Yeah, I modded the zeemax kit to take a triangle exhaust then had a firm make me a new tip.
