The inner cage opened when we were fucking upside down and the gap between the bar frame covering you is bloody massive unless your obese! As others have said you definitely could have fallen out!! Or at least if you let go ended up out of your seat and resting dangerously on the outer cage! My arm had tension locked from sheer terror holding myself inside this dangerous contraption. Well, the ride hasnt been demolished and scrapped, it has merely moved on to Flamingolands sister park in Cleethorpes, Pleasure Island. So, you still have the chance. The ride program is actually alot faster at Pleasure Island too.

It was awful at the time but cause there was loads of us from my school we were all just being cocky and screaming and showing off etc but my god i was petrified lmao! I always imagine the worst that could happen before a ride but you never expect it to happen !!!! lol :D Awesome ride though :D

The 'Obliterator' has replaced Pleasure Islands 'Century 2000' which has been relocated within Pleasure Island under the same name!

i dont know how you could possibly nearly fall out because you have TWO harnesses for extra safety ... i think the ride is completly safe .. and maybe you just felt like that because you come of your seat?

The indoor dogems moved to where Circulator was. A new indoor kids play area was built where the dogems were.

I've been on this ride. There are no straps but a cage over you so unless you embrace yourself, you will slide onto a metal bar on your crotch.
