"The new album doesn't sound like Brothers. It doesn't have that open soul feel to it. It's way more driving and the tempos are really fast."

On one hand you got ppl who discovered the keys on their 1st 3 albums (the big come up, thickfreakness and rubber factory) that had a straight up rugged/raw blues rock sound and like them for that. Then u got the fans who discovered them on their brothers album that took on a more soulful retro rock sound and like them for that. Finding the right balance musicially for all the fans to like & appreciate is KEY (no pun lol)

Also, those who ARE pre-ordering before the release of any songs are doing so because they own/have listened to previous albums, so they know that they will like this one.

At least the Keys will release a single beforehand, an have provided a date. If you want to wait to hear it, then do that. I don't think it insults the fan base, because it offers the option to wait for the single, and it does nothing for new customers, because it doesn't need to. Pre-ordering is not set-up to help attract new fans, it's FOR existing fans.
