I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old PRV Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree
I am still curious about cam timings. is it retarded cam, advanced? or did you just go with it with injection timed? there is a 11 degree difference, and do not know which direction fixes it.
Nice! I was at the St.Anthony Sand Dunes last year and saw a sandrail with a carbureted H6, it had a tall sheetmetal intake with a four barrel on top and nitrous. It sounded pretty sweet!
Would a carbed EJ22 make the same power and torque as the EFI?

had no idea ej22 came with a carb. that sucks!

Normally the EJ22 does not have a carb - it was built from the start with multi-point fuel injection.

That is so cool. Makes me want to build a carbureted EJ-series for my Volkswagen Bus.
