got these, i got low arches so it took time for the arch to lower to conform to my foot. i used heel inserts to counter the arch for while. i think the outrigger has no pattern because it would become too flexible for it to really counter a roll outwards. if there's a pattern there then there would be less rubber then less rubber means more flexibility on that part. i wish they could improve it by having a thicker outtrigger like the KD4 which has an excelent forefoot base.
Great review. Im thinking about getting some fly wade 2's. Heard great stuff about the shoe. I play in Kobe vi and Hyperdunk 2011 and they play pretty well. I'm looking for another basketball shoe with great traction and stability. The only thing that gets me is the price tag on the wades but I might just give it a try!
@CreativeSensation Thank you! I can understand the price concern. There are definetely cheaper options out there. I'm sure that these will go on sale at some point. But, I'm confident that they won't disappoint.
Thanks for the review bro. Best performance shoes I've ever balled in. The best thing is it doesn't crease and retains its shape after gruelling hours of balling. Highly recommend this kickz over the Kobe 7s and the KD IVs.
@TheRenaissanceKid No, I didn't return them. I still have the Fly Wade 2's. I actually hooped in them on Tuesday, and they are still performing quite well.
@nuserify I don't see why not. Any shoe that you play in outdoors is going to take more damage in a shorter period of time. I have not played outdoors in them personally, though.
@jonnieos I would say just try it on bro and see how it feels in store. Lace em up and run back and forth in the store if u have to. Make a few cuts and in-game type moves. You may look kinda silly but you gotta make sure that your $150+ purchase is justified. I have slightly lower arches myself. I'm not completely flat footed and these shoes don't bother me at all. It is slightly narrow up in the toe box though.
@jonnieos I wear an 11 in the fly wade 2 and in the Lebron 8 PS. I wear an 11.5 in the LeBron 8 v1 and v2. The way these shoes fit is all completely different. They all feel totally different on foot. There's no arch support built in to the v1 and v2 like there is on the PS and in the fly wade 2. I hope that helps!
@nukemachinistmate PLZ HELP how does the fly wade 2 sizing equate to lebron 8?? (maybe even try lebron 8 on at footlocker to see). because size 12 lebron is the PERFECT fit for me. what size would that be for a fly wade (half size up or down or same or different??)
@supershoeman824 I actually broke down and went to go pick up the Kobe 7 yesterday...you're welcome..... But seriously though, I didn't like the fit. It was a little too constructive for me so I had to pass.
Fly Wade 2's, kevin durant IV's, kobe 7's, or hyperdunks?

@crapman430 I've never played in the hyperdunks.... But I would put the Fly Wade 2's at the top of the list personally...

@hopakwai Fly Wade was great, but Fly Wade 2 is better in just about every way IMO
