Romanticide was always one of those songs that I thought wasn't very fitting for Tarja's vocal style. However, Anette breathes new life into this song, and boy does it ROCK!

one of the lines of the song might be pointing to tarja before she left. as you know tuomas is basically the creator of nightwish and you could possibly say he created tarja. one of the lines in romanticide is"See me ruined by my own creations"

I was shocked when I heard Anette sing this song, and kinda worried to be honest. I didn't think she could do it. Simply because it's out of her vocal range, not her fault at all.

But it is absolutely awesome. It might be one of my favourite NW songs and I wasn't a big fan of it before. Go Anette!

I heard them play this when I was at the Houston, Texas show. It was one of my favorite Nightwish songs in the past, and now it's moved up the list. I agree with you, it's a scary thought at first. She pulled it off magnificently though.

Fuck! is the first time I've seen this song on Live!

It sounds really good, Anette is improving without doubt! Her voice fits better for this kind of songs, she has a powerful voice -much than Tarja indeed.- That's why I think Anettes' versions crush over Tarjas' versions SOMETIMES. Not every song fits Tarja's voice, neither Anette's voice... pretty good Nightwish!
