So either way I think Brucas would have existed whether it was when Peyton was having her pity parades and brooding! i would never do this. hoes over broes obviously meant nothing to peyton and you get one chance of full trust, friendship and disclosure with me. peyton ruined that but brooke took her back as a friend. then peyton screwed up again. BIG MISTAKE!

all i'm going to say is that Brooke asked Peyton time and time again wether she liked Lucas she said no, she liked Nathan. they broke up and she decided she like Lucas more than she thought. she lied to Brooke and let Brooke believe not only was she not into Lucas but that she was happy for Brooke and Lucas. then all that stuff happened and B&P became friends again.

she didn't relize she had feelings for him until she went to see jake, and she told brooke about it so it wouldn't be like last time, and peyton wasn't tryin to steel lucas espescialy the second time its just she relized how much he had been there for her and how she still had feelings for him but she didn't do anything about it until brook and lucas were over

she never did anything wrong. all she said was she still loved Lucas. But she wasn't gonna do anything about it.
even after she broke up with Lucas, the two didn't hook up until later that season. when brooke basically gave lucas "permission" to go out with her.
