Reminds me alot of the steve bailey exercise, where you you rest your first finger at say the 7th fret on the G, then your second on the 8th on the E, your third finger on the 9th fret on the D and your 4th finger on the A. Monster warm ups! He can do them on his 6 string (swapping E for B and G for C etc!) You could have spoken a little more about the right hand itself but great vid none the less :)
My wrist is killing me looking at your right hand technique :o)

@cervpaul It's just because I'm sitting on such a low couch and my knees are really high because of it. Not at all like that when I stand and play.

I have a Peavey Millenium BX-P 4-string and I have the same body and finish.
I love the video where you play "Monologue" on your Conklin 7-string.
Your playing is excellent and it's good that you believe in being not that good, that way you can continue to grow as a musician.
