I was amazed by how beautiful the actual tower is, the design, the marble, it's phenomenal.

this tower is a nest for the most sophisticated thieves in the world. you'd get ropped in the blink of an eye without noticing at all. I dont know if this is part of the Italian culture or if thaz what they do for living but boy, italy is a scary place to visit. I'd never vacation there again.

Italy wouldn't be one of the 8 most powerful economies in the world if that's what we do to live. And it wouldn't be the 5th most touristic country if that was our culture.

I've been all around Italy and never get robbed. Maybe actually you've never been here. I visited your country too and surely there were some of the most dirty, smelly n dangerous places i've seen in my life, but I don't use to be a pathetic racist like you, so I don't suppose that's the "american culture".

The UK has it's own leaning tower and you will never EVER EVER EVER guess what it is! The answer is.............The Houses of Parliament Clocktower (Big Ben) It leans 8.6 inches to the NorthWest! Take that, Italy!

@Paterson212 Italy did not "switch sides." in WWII. After Italy was defeated in September 1943, Mussolini went into hiding and was eventually hanged by Italian partisans. The new government, which was anti-fascist and supported by the Allies' cause.

Thanks Mr John P Meyer, for the first time I met someone through the images of a video that makes the Pisa Tower looks not blended over and honestly, when you make the zoom with the blue Toscana sky behind of Pisa Tower it seems perfect, inclination is just a fantasy of the senses attached to Earth, maybe? Magic moment!

It took 175 years to make the leaning tower and they didn't even do a good job... IT LEANS LOL

lol, it was built on soil that was as bad as sand and they tried to build it straight ,but when they saw that it leaned they continued building it in the other angle hoping that it would straighten out when finished. That's why when you take a close look at it, it doesn't just lean to one side you can actually see it straighten out towards the top because of multiple angles....pretty fascinating. Gaileo was on top of it when he tested the law of gravity.
